A big show greets us with several big matches, but none bigger than the leaders of the NWO colliding as Hulk Hogan takes on Macho Man Randy Savage in a steel cage match for supremacy in the NWO. also, Sting puts his world title on the line against NWO member Scott Hall. And The Giant takes on Kevin Nash with the jackknife powerbomb being legal in the match. Who will win the battle.of the big men? In a time before pay-per-view, word of mouth became an important source for a small promotion to survive. And no promotion had better word of mouth than Extreme Championship Wrestling. Tape traders (yes kids, that was a thing) would go crazy over the little company that could from Philadelphia. Many of those key shows coming out of their home base of the arena on the corner of Swanson and Rittner.This is basically a house show (live event) that became a super show. It is also a precursor to what would become the only ECW PPV to happen every year from 1997-2000.
