Scott Redding wins BSB, Other Stuff Happened - Motegi '19 | Ep. 126
24/10/2019 Duración: 01h08minBrotoGP is here to wax poetically about the most exciting things in motorcycle racing. The Japanese GP at Motegi was not one of those. Thankfully we are gifted with a new British Superbike Champ in Scott Redding. Leon Camier and Barni racing gets a little air-time. We cover the "fiasco" that was Race 1 of the WSBK Argentina round in San Juan, based on the little information that we have. And we finally talk about Johann Zarco riding for HRC for the 3 season-ending races. Phillip Island is up tomorrow so listen to this ASAP.

Garrett Gerloff is more exciting than Marc Marquez - Thailand '19 | Ep. 125
12/10/2019 Duración: 01h23minWe're back and not much has changed since we last recorded. The 2019 MotoGP championship is sealed with Marquez finishing in front of Dovisiozo. Fabio Quatararo almost won that race just like Kev almost didn't mini-rant this episode. But the real meat and potatoes of this podcast is two points:1. What's more exciting - good races and a boring championship OR bland races and an exciting championship?2. Garrett Gerloff is going to race in WorldSBKKyle Wyman joins us and bring a lot of insight about some of the racers, especially Gerloff. Of course we talk about the past and future of MotoAmerica with another American going to the world stage. Some of us have high hopes for him and that GRT Yamaha team.

Marquez Did The Thing, BGP Really Tries - Brno '19 | Ep. 123
06/08/2019 Duración: 01h26minMotoGP is back from the summer break and Marc Marquez did the thing in Brno. Ya - the weather was tricky. Ya - Zarco put it on the front row. Ya - Cal was mean to Taka. Ya - Rins got mad. And all that made for the most exciting race in history! (sarcasm). BrotoGP tried, we really tried!#motogp #nothinghappened #marquezwinsagainVisit https://shop.brotogp.com for BGP SwagVisit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Is Maverick Vinales Back? and Yamaha? - Assen '19 | Ep. 122
04/07/2019 Duración: 01h37minIs Maverick Vinales back? Is Yamaha back? They won at Assen again. Sorry, BrotoGP is going with a bit fat "nope". He might show well at Sachsenring, but don't expect regular podiums or wins from him for most of the 2nd half of the season.MotoE is HERE! We spend quite a bit of time giving you a little preview of what to expect, what's different, and how we think it will go. Kev thinks that one of MotoE biggest fake issues right now might be there largest strength - a lack of noise. Check it out.KTM and Zarco's woes get a bit more air time. Ya Zarco gave up during the race at Assen, pulling in "before things got dangerous". Kev blames KTM, not Zarco for that one.#dutchtt #vinaleswinsagain #rossicrashVisit https://shop.brotogp.com for BGP SwagVisit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Jorge Lorenzo Isn't Your Antihero - Catalunya '19 | Ep. 121
26/06/2019 Duración: 01h22minBrotoGP does record when Marc Marquez wins! MotoGP was back at one of my favorite tracks - Catalunya - but Jorge Lorenzo ruined most of the race. Kev lays out how you might be feeling about him losing ground on becoming our antihero. Jorge, you could have been Deadpool! After that, we jump into Fabio Quartararo vs Casey Stoner. I'll say it right now, Fabio is looking better than Stoner right now. We cover their rookie years and talk about LCR vs Petronas SRT. Gotta love that oil money.Lastly, we go over the historic Dutch TT and why Kev thinks they should still race on Saturday.#jorgelorenzocrash #fabiovscasey #motogpVisit https://shop.brotogp.com for BGP SwagVisit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Petrucci, Ducati, and Life-Long Dreams - Mugello 2019 | Ep. 120
05/06/2019 Duración: 01h31minWe start this one off with a topic you might not expect... Jorge Lorenzo. Jorge Lorenzo isn't exactly setting the grid on fire with his performances on the RC213V. It might be considered the best bike in MotoGP, but he simply cannot ride it well enough. But that doesn't mean Jorge is going to be dropped from the team (early).Mugello was the culmination of a life's work for Danilo Petrucci and it showed on his face in parc ferme. A win on your home soil, in front of all those fans, against the best-of-the-best, with 0 asterisks has got to feel amazing. Did you know he almost quit GP entirely... twice? Danilo is a beast and we are so lucky to get to see this moment.Andrea Dovizioso was given a lot of credit for Petrucci's win - by Petrucci himself. And its odd in the hyper-competitive environment of MotoGP to HELP your teammate beat you. But it happened. So we have to wonder why. Is Dovizioso training his teammate in an effort to beat Marquez for the title? Someone needs to finish between Dovi and Ma

New Rivalries Heat Up at Le Mans 2019 - Ep. 119
24/05/2019 Duración: 02h02sThere were a trio of Ducati's near the front of Le Mans and two of them are building a massive rivalry for that factory seat - Petrucci and Miller. This race goes to Petrux. But we'll be keeping an eye on both of them, on and off-track. Kev shares an amazing story about pizza. Then we dive into the surprise of Fabio and the disappointment of Mav, building our own rivalry for them. We jump into some cognitive dissonance to make unsurprising wins a little more exciting. Then we finish this one off with all the drama and surprise surrounding KTM, Pol, and Zarco. Oh, and we talk about hype, spoilers, and the announcers - good and bad.

Fabio’s Fantastic Front-row Finds Flummoxing Finish - Ep. 118
09/05/2019 Duración: 01h33minGP made it back to Europe for the Jerez round. Classically, this means the factory teams and the championship contenders start gapping the rest of the field... but that isn't exactly what happened. Marquez still did his thing after HRC convinced him the COTA crash was the bike's fault. But we had plenty of surprises from Quartararo, Morbidelli, and Vinales. And there were a few "1-star reviews" on top of that with disappointments from Jorge, Dovisiozo, and even Rossi. On top of that, KTM and Zarco are making plenty of headlines for the wrong reasons. Enjoy.#FabioQuartararoPole #PetronasYamahaSRT #MotoGPVisit https://shop.brotogp.com to preorder our new t-shirt.Visit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Musings about WorldSBK, Alex Marquez, and Cats - Ep. 117
02/05/2019 Duración: 01h25minWorldSBK is at a crossroads right now. Bautista is winning everything (literally) and bringing more eyes to the series. But if he keeps doing it, will they stay? Rea and Kawi may fight back, but that arms race is going to leave other factories behind. Kev has a solution, but its probably not what you think. We spend some time talking about Moto2 talent as well. Tom Luthi is showing he's the true Gatekeeper in Moto2, Schrotter has upgraded to Journeyman, Baldassarri is true talent, and the rest... well you'll see. You just might root for Alex Marquez after this one.Oh, and of course we talk about cats. And birds. And cats and birds.Racing is back this weekend.#worldsbk #bautistawins #rootforalexmarquezVisit https://shop.brotogp.com to preorder our new t-shirt.Visit https://www.riderzlaw.com to contact Sy and Lawyer Rob for all your legal needs

Rins 'Rins' at COTA, Marquez Crashes - Ep. 116
18/04/2019 Duración: 01h40minMotoGP at Circuit of the Americas gave all the fans plenty of surprises. Rins' talent and Suzuki's development have been confirmed with their first win together, Suzuki's first since Vinales left the team. America fans were able to see Rossi back on the box. And Jack Miller showed us that he can ride the Pramac Ducati in the dry like the best Pramac riders before him - with a few extra f-bombs.But that's not all. Marquez may have showed us that if he doesn't practice crashing (in practice), he may not be able to accomplish those amazing saves during a race. Honda shit the bed with one of their worst weekends in recent memory. Kev has words for the announcers over Iannone's crash and their coverage. And of course, we gotta talk a little about jump starts. There was no time for Moto2, Moto3, or WSBK in this one. So catch us soon, before GP at Jerez, for more coverage of those races.

Ducati: If You're Not Cheating, You're Not Trying - Ep. 115
14/03/2019 Duración: 01h34minThere are two GP riders that have figured out Qatar: Marquez and Dovizioso. But one of them has the most patience and the best drive. The race was phenomenal for all the tactics and the battles between a large group with some unexpected riders. We expected the group, but who knew that Rins, Cal, and Mir would be there, everything considered. Rossi and Jorge's performances are applauded as well, though maybe for different reasons than you might think.Of course, that wasn't the biggest story all weekend. Ducati came out swinging at Qatar with innovations that are pushing the limit in MotoGP. The other factories (except Yamaha) have already protested their implementation of a rear tire cooling device. And we love all the drama! We round this one out talking about rookies. Kev is pioneering the Fabio train. Olivera gets a mention because of some surprises on the KTM. And the rest left us a little disappointed, at least for Round 1.

Has Ducati Put WorldSBK in a Sticky Situation? - Ep. 114
01/03/2019 Duración: 01h30minIts official - Ducati has built an almost-GP bike for racing in WSBK and its amazing already. Alvaro Bautista trounced the field at Phillip Island, winning all three races. The only thing he did "bad" was his Superpole lap. But what does this mean for WorldSBK? We are going to love seeing someone else have a real shot at the title against Rea and Kawasaki. What about Davies, Rinaldi, and Laverty? What about next year? What about all the private teams? What about selling homologation specials? Its the start of the year and there are lots of questions.

Sepang Test 2019, Duc Duc Goose - Ep. 113
21/02/2019 Duración: 59minDon't forget - we talkin' bout practice. So let's have some fun with this one. Aleix Trabat would like to welcome you to our newest segment - Broto Jeopardy. This first one keeps it light, but someone dominates the board.Winter seems to be going well for the top 4 Ducati riders, especially Pecco. Kev has found new hope that there will be some new excitement in the GP class. After that, we discuss the wounded racers riding for HRC. So far its 2-1 that Cal will get the short end of the stick with his near career-ending injuries. But its still yet to be seen how well Marc and Jorge will do in the early part of the season. Then we finish this off with the "coolest" rider in GP.Who do you think is the coolest rider in MotoGP? Moto2? Moto3? Let us know in the comments and we'll talk about it next time.#motogp #brotogp #sepangtest

Torque is the BEST Motorcycle Movie
01/02/2019 Duración: 48min'Torque' is the best motorcycle movie out. A blockbuster from 2004, it has everything you could want in a motorcycle movie - the lifestyle, the care-free attitude, the bikes, the Road Rash fighting, the drugs, the wheelie battles... wait wut? Ok, racing hasn't kicked off yet for 2019. But some fans have missed us. So here's more BrotoGP poetry about why 'Torque' is the best motorcycle movie... or maybe the worst. You decide.

Why You Might Be Wrong About Legend Dani Pedrosa - Ep. 112
17/12/2018 Duración: 01h20minDani Pedrosa is a MotoGP Legend. He might be lacking a premier class championship, but he's still one of the most successful racers of all time. Of course, his induction into the MotoGP Legends has stirred up some controversy. Kev isn't having this. So here's his thesis on why you might be wrong about Dani's Legend status.#danipedrosa26 #motogplegend #brotogp

Wet Valencia 2018 Defies Expectations - Ep. 111
21/11/2018 Duración: 01h32minValencia was WET and our expectations were thrown out the window. All three races were crash-filled sufferfests, but that really helped a few performances to stand out. We start off with Suzuki, Rins, and their new found consistency on the podium. Then we move onto KTM, their investment, and the results they've achieved so far in all classes. Then we get into the bad. Will Marquez's shoulder injuries end his career? And if so, will it be quick or slow? Lastly, we finish off with a few random things like Redding and Iannone's antics and Kev's Moto2 dream coming true.

Syahrin Delights, Rossi Disappoints - Ep. 110
07/11/2018 Duración: 01h29minYou can probably already guess that BrotoGP is a little bit sad over Rossi's crash. We were robbed of a good finish to all the tension that had been building over the race. So this episode goes a little different than normal. We start with a quick race recap. But then things get more philosophical. Nostalgia and how its affecting motorcycle racing as a whole is the big topic here. I was disappointed that Rossi crashed, but also not as surprised as I should have been. I'm also not surprised that WSBK will feature more old talent than new talent next year. And there are plenty of people on the internet still talking about some retired racers. Why!?!?!After we talk about that, BGP give you our pics for the light at the end of the tunnel. Of course Hafizh makes that list with his amazing result in front of his home crowd. And you can probably guess who else is on that list.Lastly, we talk a little about racing in America with the speculation that WSBK may not visit Laguna Seca this year. Enjoy.

Everyone Crashed at Phillip Island - Ep. 109
01/11/2018 Duración: 01h06minCrashes at Phillip Island had a huge impact on the weekend and the race. But before we get there, Kevin has a great idea for the 2019 MotoGP calendar. We go way off topic for a bit talking about championship excitement. Then we get to all those crashes. Dani was so sad, Cal got hurt, and thankfully Marquez and Zarco's crash wasn't worse. Because all those riders were out, Yamaha got a gift in the race - or did they? Then we jump over to something we've never discussed before - Alvaro Bautista. He did some amazing things on a Factory bike and he might have made a few people look silly. Then we finish this one off with a few random topics.

Marquez's Worst Celebration EVER - Ep. 108
24/10/2018 Duración: 01h25minA MotoGP title decider has never before left such a sour taste in our mouths. Dovi went down, further adding to the mistakes that allowed Marquez to seal the deal so soon. But we don't spend much time on that. Instead, Kev gets to rant about Marquez's insincere title and win celebration. We ain't that mad about the 8-bit thing. We mad about everything else. Aside from that, Rob gets to talk about rules concerning Lorenzo's replacement and Fabio's disqualification. We again talk about the 3rd-best bike on the grid: Suzuki or Yamaha? And we even cover American Road Racing talent in a useful tangent.
-
Valentino Rossi Did What in Thailand? - Ep. 107
10/10/2018 Duración: 01h14minValentino Rossi managed to double Yamaha's number of laps led in Thailand. Isn't that... sad? Our expectations for the Yamaha factory team have always been higher. So its not surprising that we are a bit disappointed that's the only notable thing they've been able to accomplish lately. We cover that for a bit, even through some technical difficulties. Our other main story is how Michelin and the Thailand heat and track layout affected the racing. All the riders struggled with rear tire durability and grip like never before, wearing out their rear tires even in the center. Thankfully, all this produced another Michelin-era style race with a large pack and a great end of race battle for the win. We talk about Jorge Lorenzo some and finish off with some quick BrotoGP Awards for the weekend.
