Episodios

  • Episode 71 - Ducati Moses' Hat Trick

    16/08/2017 Duración: 01h16min

Crazy races and amazing last lap battles bring insane BrotoGP episodes. Too much happened in this one to recap it all in a short paragraph, but I'll try. We flub the intro (kinda), RiderzLaw gets a nice plug, and we jump into the last lap of the race. Dovi outsmarted Marquez, racing to his and the Ducati's strengths. So we try to make that sound good. Pedrosa get some air time as he helped the two title contenders pull away, especially as Factory Yamaha struggles for braking stability. Then, Kev and Rob get heated over whether or not Jorge is gonna make it. Then the shit talking really starts with Pol & Bradley at KTM, and the insane hall of shame that is Miller, Redding, and Lowes. Lots of nard jokes too, you'll see.

  • Episode 70 - Marquez' Masterclass Masterstroke Melee

    08/08/2017 Duración: 01h08min

Racing is back after the unreasonably long summer break. BrotoGP is back. And Marc Marquez is definitely back. The mostly-dry weekend was building to an amazing dry race where no one really knew who had the pace to win... then it rains just a little bit. Once again in tricky conditions, Marquez showed us that he and his team have that shit down to a science, while two of his main title challengers dropped the ball. Rossi might actually realize now - after this race - that he has no clue when to come in to switch to slicks. And hopefully this is Ducati's one major mistake for Dovi and his title hunt. We show Mav and Dani some love for not digging that grave and getting on the box. Then we get to talk about everyone's favorite carbon fiber awesomeness - winglets! Duc finally homologated an aero fairing and people have some strong opinions about it. Lastly, we introduce a new segment called the "Hall of Shame" and Kev goes HAM on it. Enjoy!

  • Episode 69 - Nicky Hayden's Excellent Adventure

    27/07/2017 Duración: 51min

Nicky Hayden just won the MotoGP World Championship after a tense race in Valencia! Everyone counted him out after the shit that went down in Portugal 2 weekends ago, losing his title lead. All the haters just expected Rossi to cruise to another consecutive title. But it didn't happen! Can you tell we are excited? This episode is pretty straight forward. Nicky gets a ton of love for his underdog story that culminated in the best moment of his career. Rossi chokes and we gotta wonder if he still has it - can he ever win again without the best bike on the grid? We jump over to Ducati and the amazing performance that the wildcard rider Troy Bayliss put in to win. And of course, we talk a ton of shit about other riders like Casey Stoner, their performances all year and what we expect next year with the new 800cc bikes. Then we finish this one off all classy, just like Rossi and especially Nicky.

  • Episode 68 - VR46 vs Nepotism vs KTM

    20/07/2017 Duración: 01h04min

It feels like forever since we discussed Moto2. We are still stuck in the summer break, so this felt like a great time to brush up on the intermediate class and discuss the racers leading the championship - the top 5 in reverse order. Racers make most of the stories and bitches love stories. Pecco Bagnaia is up first as the only Moto2 rookie to make an impact so far this year. Then we jump on Alex Marquez, his nepo-tastic results really getting Kev riled up. Miguel Oliveira and KTM make Rob eat a bunch of crow. Everyone's favorite journeyman Luthi sits in 2nd and has the entire BrotoGP crew hoping he doesn't win the 'ship. And lastly, we get to Franco, his awesome jerry curl, and the development of the VR46 crew. We are also giving away an amazing Nicky Hayden art print, so check out our social media for how to win that.

  • Episode 67 - Chaz, Please Make WSBK Fun Again

    17/07/2017 Duración: 57min

Rapid fire episode, WSBK this time. The last one wasn't short enough and this one isn't either - still worth it. We talk about racing first, specifically how Chaz and Rea went full on beast-mode in separate races. We even cover the American wildcard Gagne a bit. Then the shit starts flying. Kev had it up to here with Laguna's shitty cell service and WSBK's ridiculous grid reshuffle system. The perfect storm of crap meant that Laguna's best turnout in years was all for nothing, creating yet another forgettable Sunday of WSBK racing. But all is not lost - BrotoGP has the solutions. Make WSBK great again!

  • Episode 66 - Elias, the MotoAmerican Dream

    12/07/2017 Duración: 49min

Surprise! Its the summer break but BrotoGP is gonna be bringing you a bunch of new content. We just got back from Laguna Seca and MotoAmerica is up first. The racing was phenomenal and dare I say, Kev was a bit surprised. MotoAmerica and practically everyone racing in it have had a huge resurgence in the past few years and thats all we are going to talk about. Toni Elias is living the true MotoAmerican dream leading the SBK title. Josh Herrin finally puts his privateer Yamaha on the box. There are rider stories left and right and we expect that it will attract fans, money, and maybe even new riders. MotoAmerica is rising from the ashes and it rocks.

  • Episode 65 - Fraud Marquez Pretends to Lead Germany

    06/07/2017 Duración: 01h03min

BrotoGP coming at you a little late this week, but we made it. Ev & Dennis are missing so Nak from the Motos and Misfits Podcast joins us to make this a good one. Marquez won at Sachsenring again, but not in the normal convincing fashion - and the pressure came from a very surprising racer. We hit up how HRC development is going, then start talking about the title. Is Marquez the real title leader or is it just #fakenews? After covering all the variability and errors this year, we jump over to Yamaha wondering if they are in trouble. Using something resembling the better performing 2016 frame isn't a good look for them. Rob finally gets his way as the Zarco hype train starts to derail and we jump on the Folger train. We close this one out with Silly Season talks and a bit of shenanigans as always. Enjoy.

  • Episode 64 - Dr Rossi All Up In Dat Assen

    28/06/2017 Duración: 01h14min

BrotoGP has been traveling all over the place this past weekend, but the race was so amazing that we had to get you this episode real quick. First off, we give away a sweet Suomy helmet to a faithful listener. Then we jump right into exactly what you want to hear about - The Doctor winning at Assen. What can we say, you can never count him out... especially once Yamaha gives him a chassis he likes. We then hit up the other notable Yamaha riders, namely Maverick and Zarco's mistakes and any potential mindf***s. Ducati showed us this weekend that they truly are title contenders, so Dovi and Petrux get a bit of air-time. Then we go over the ups and downs of HRC. We finish this one off with silly season rumors and some shenanigans about Jack Miller.

  • Episode 63 - The Dovi's In The Details

    13/06/2017 Duración: 01h12min

We are like the Oprah of Motorcycle Podcasts, we just giving shit away. Listen to this one to learn how to win something awesome. Dovi surprised us again with his second dry win in 7 days, #ducatimoses. The coy racer downplayed the whole thing in the press conference. But you know we had to answer everyone's question - Are Dovi and Duc actually title contenders? We jump over the Marquez crash-fest and discuss his title rebound with a solid result. Then we really start talking mistakes and errors. Did Michelin screw up this race? Do they have too much control over the series? What's up with Yamaha? Aprilia... really? Lastly, we cover some Silly Season rumors and how it relates to the epic-ness that was the last lap for Moto3.

  • Episode 62 - Mugello and Ducati Moses

    08/06/2017 Duración: 01h16min

We all know why you are listening to this episode... we are giving away free stuff! Kev starts us off with some amazing reviews then we jump right into that Zarco visor. After that, all the amazing races from Mugello stand on their own. Dovi is now aptly named the 'Ducati Moses'. Matia Pasini gets some love for producing the best Moto2 race of the year. And we marvel at the batshit-crazy that was Moto3 and Andrea Migno's first win. We lose Everett right about there so this one becomes a Kev&Rob show. Mav and Marquez get some air time for contrasting performances. Kev brings back Cal Bashin' Time for his stupid words about Dani. Then we actually compare Jorge & Petrucci. We finish this one off with a story from Mugello and thoughts of Catalunya.

  • Episode 61 - Rossi Falls as Zarco Breaks Through

    24/05/2017 Duración: 01h05s

After some consideration, we decided to still record this week's podcast to celebrate an incredible weekend of racing and in part the life of Nicky Hayden. Kev starts us off in best way he knows, though we will do more to honor Nicky once we have more time. Then we jump into the hottest topic in GP, Johann Zarco. CycleGear hooked us up and we've got a Zarco-giveaway for you, so listen to find out how to win it. We then move over to the race winner Maverick, discuss the huge mistakes by the two other contenders, and even talk about Pedrosa again. Jack Miller's amazing words for Lorenzo come up and we finish this one off with dreams of Mugello. A bit mellow this time, but I don't think you expected anything else.*Apologies about the static. I'm on it.

  • Episode 60 - Dani 3000

    09/05/2017 Duración: 01h02min

The Jerez GP round is supposed to be normal, a return back to Europe where we finally see how the real championship contenders will do. But not this year. Herve Poncharal ate his boogers. Dani Pedrosa reminded everyone why he has so many wins and is now 10pts back from title lead. Marquez was unable to successfully push hard for the win. Both factory Yamaha's struggled worse than their Satellite counterparts. Jorge got on the box. Jack Miller kinda threw down, twice. How much more crazy could this round get?!?! This was a fun one, enjoy.

  • Episode 59 - Franco's Rise, Fenati's Redemption, and Duc's Road to Ruin

    02/05/2017 Duración: 01h05min

Everyone at BGP felt like we left a lot on the table from last episode. There was so much more to talk about after the COTA round but we know you aren't going to listen to 2hr episodes. So here's our extension of that... AND we even talk about WSBK! This episode starts off with the two underclasses in GP. Franco and Fenati get a lot of air time with plenty of shit-talking. Then we jump over to WSBK starting with the QP incident, Davies' harsh words, and Rea's penalty. On to the racing, its hard to not talk about Rea's dominance and how badly Ducati seems to be choking. That leads us back to Ducati in GP, which was unfortunately more of the same story. We finish this one off with a small preview of the upcoming racing in Jerez.

  • Episode 58 - This Ain't Marquez' First Rodeo

    25/04/2017 Duración: 54min

GP was in America and Marquez won again - are u actually surprised? Even though the winner was somewhat expected, a ton of shit went down and we've got A LOT to talk about. Sorry we don't get to Moto2, Moto3, or MotoAmerica, but I still think you'll enjoy this one. Kev-Rants everywhere! We start off with a slight race recap, jumping right into early mistakes and on-track contact. Zarco gets plenty of air time, especially as we dive into the "bullshit" Rossi penalty. Maverick's mistakes get brought up, including his QP incident with Rossi. Then we move over to the Honda's and Marquez' win. Dani finally makes a podcast too now that he put on a good race, just not good enough to win. We finish this one off with some quick listener questions and more shenanigans.

  • Episode 57 - Doctor Rossi Prescribes Spanish Crashes

    12/04/2017 Duración: 55min

Maverick continued his domination of everything GP with another win in Argentina. But that's no the main focus of this episode. There were a lot of factory rider crashes that really shook up the field, yet a bunch of the riders claimed "ideal conditions" before the race. Rossi capitalized by putting in a very solid 350th GP after a tough weekend in practice and qualifying. Marquez, Pedrosa, Dovi, Jorge, and Aleix managed the opposite. We talk about some tires, the dirty track, rider's claims about pushing or not, and anything else to try to decipher this crash-fest. Karel Abraham gets some air time for his amazing qualifying performance and not binning-it in the race. Then we move on to KTM's performance in GP, if you can call it that, and their success in Moto2. This episode even gets a bit silly after the outro, so don't shut it off right away.

  • Episode 56 - Turn and Burn with Maverick in Qatar

    29/03/2017 Duración: 01h17min

BrotoGP is back to full stride with GP racing in the Qatar desert. RiderzLaw and CycleGear are helping us out and we even give away a helmet in this episode. We talk about the weather first because this race almost didn't happen - what a clusterf***. Then we jump into the podium finishers and how they got there. After some shenanigans with a helmet and our listener reviews, we bring up some notable performances from Iannone, Aleix, and Zarco. Speaking of the M1, we then explore the development and ride-ability of the different factory bikes. We get to some forgettable performances, specifically from Marquez and Jorge. SAD. Then we finish this one off with a little Moto2 and Moto3 chat.

  • Episode 55 - Maverick's Greatest Test, Duc's Great Ducts, and the Great Rossi Helmet Giveaway

    15/03/2017 Duración: 01h29min

GP testing is finally over, so we figured we'd round out the off-season with a review of the entire grid... slowest to fastest. But before we get there, CycleGear is now sponsoring BrotoGP and we are giving away a sick AGV Rossi Replica Helmet. Listen to figure out how to win it. After that, we cover the mind-boggling sneaklets, ducted winglets, whatever you want to call them, that Ducati finally debuted. Then we break into our grid review, starting the KTMs. Longest episode ever, definitely worth it!

  • Episode 54 - WSBK Opener is REA-lly Good, Watch It

    28/02/2017 Duración: 55min

BrotoGP has a bit of a dilemma every time WSBK racing comes around. Everyone seems to care about GP more and SBK racing gets a bit lost. So for this episode, we are going to convince you (and Kev) to watch this racing. Crazy shit went down in Phillip Island with 3 amazing races. The Rea vs. Davies battle resumed with Marco Melandri spicing it up on the other Duc. The grid shuffle allowed more racers to fight up front in Race2. Even WSS had a crazy tight finish between some unexpected podium finishers. Aside from all that, Kev talks shit about fake factory teams and the little hope their riders have. We sneak in our thoughts on the WSS talent, the new R6, and what will happen when Kenan comes back. Then we hard segue over to GP and talk about the only bit of recent news - Marquez dislocating his other shoulder and his hopes for a long record-breaking career.

  • Episode 53 - Mav's 3-peat & Don't Get Tricked by Fake News

    22/02/2017 Duración: 48min

BrotoGP here covering last week's Phillip Island Test. Maverick continues his clean sweep of the off-season tests and you know Kev was going to show him some love. President Kev keeps us informed about Rossi's true performance and bashes on all the other fake news floating around about him in 12th. We cover a brewing Marquez-Vinales rivalry a bit, then jump right into all the aero-developments we saw at the test. Duc has to come up, including Jorge's so far lack-luster performance and interviews lying to us about Duc's new fairings. We finish this one off with a preview of WSBK's opener at Phillip Island this coming weekend, including the hopes for Melandri on the Duc and the ailing Hondas.

  • Episode 52 - Make MotoAmerica Great Again, SBK/STK Champ Josh Herrin

    16/02/2017 Duración: 01h08min

While we are in between GP testing, BrotoGP is excited to bring you another real and honest racer interview. 2013 AMA Superbike and 2016 MotoAmerica Superstock1000 Champ Josh Herrin joins us in this one to spill about racing in America and his time in the Moto2 class. We start this one off talking about his struggles and successes during the 2016 season and his big plans for the Superbike class in 2017. Then we jump into the 2014 Moto2 season and why things didn't exactly go as planned. Josh covers it all... his riding, the talent, Zarco, Caterham Suter, the struggles with travel, his release from the team, and more. We then transition back to America, discussing the impact that international riders like Toni Elias are making. Things finish off with some personal stories from Josh about trackdays and a little shit-talking.
