San Francisco-based singer / songwriter Pete Kronowitt has released a video performance for his new politically charged song, "Change is Gonna Come," recorded live from the Cafe du Soleil in Lower Haight. The hopeful anthem was inspired both by the legends of American folk, as well as today's struggle for justice and equity. Pete co-wrote the song with Atlanta-based Chuck McDowell at a recent songwriting retreat in Crisfield, Maryland. I will be sitting down with Pete to discuss this new song and music in general

The Iran deal continues to simmer. There are some left wingers that are now turning against it. The big question is... does it matter if congress don't like it? What will the rest of the world do?

No bondsman can be forced to make a bond, where is the line in the sand drawn. How does a bondsman determin what a good risk is? Banks use credit scores, but that doesn't work in Bail Bonds. There was a stupid story out of Phoenix, AZ, Based on a tip a group of bounty hunters kicked in the front door of a Police Chief. An oops moment for sure.

Oneof the most eagerly awaited Prog albums of 2015 will be released in September by The Aaron Clift Experiment! Titled “Outer Light, Inner Darkness”, this is the second CD by the Austin ensemble and marks a musical plateau for the group with its intricate compositions, complex arrangements and virtuosic performances! I will be sitting down with Aaron Clift to talk about this new CD. We will also be taking a couple od tracks out for a spin.

Only the top 10 make it to the main stage, the other 7 will be entertained in a tent. No one seems keen on Trump being involved, The Tums will be flowing freely. Our weekly look at the bail bond industry. In some ways it is a bizzare industry. There are elements of law enforcement that don't like it, there are politicians that hate it, there are DA's that would lose no sleep if it went away. And of course last but not lease there is the man or woman that needs it! Happiness however can be replaced by sadness in a heartbeat. Don't turn up for a court date, expect to have a grumpy Bail Bondsman knocking on your door. A question I am going to ask this week is how seriously threats of death or Bodily Damage taken? Sure, most are said in the heat of the moment, but some, are cold and calculated. I invite listeners to call in and join the conversation

However I want to start the program with a subject that is not in the headlines although it certainly should be, education. Why are all of the 2016 hopefuls avoiding this subject? The answerin my mind is that it isn't sexy. Religion, Immigration, Abortion, Voting regulations, etc are sexy, education is not! Why not? is the question I ask myself.
