Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here the host of many podcasts dedicated to reviewing episodes of 80's and 90's TV Shows. I wanted to give you all an update on the the changes that will take place for my podcasting schedule from now on going forward and why I've come to this decision. Back in 2017, I started out podcasting on the show Punky Brewster and then that same year I added The Wonder Years and then episodes of Mr. Belvedere and then it just kind of snowballed from there. It was a fun little hobby or at least that's what I intended it to be in the beginning. I didn't think anyone would ever listen but you all surprised me with your downloads and your interest and for that I thank you, then and now. Somewhere along the line, I kept added shows and piling on more responsibility and some how I just became buried under the weight of it all. I never wanted podcasting to become a chore or feel like I had to do it or get to the point where it doesn't feel fun anymore and makes me feel overwhelmed. Don't g

Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of The World According To Cory: An Unofficial Boy Meets World Podcast. Today, I'm kicking off this new podcast by covering S1E1: Pilot, which aired on September 24, 1993. In this episode Cory is caught listening to the Phillies game in class while Feeny is trying to teach the class about love. Eric decides to take his girlfriend on their first date to the Phillies game instead of Cory, so Cory decides to live in his tree house. I really enjoyed this Pilot episode because we already see the relationship of Cory and Feeny off to a great start and how Cory will eventually learn to take his lessons to heart. I also loved Cory's relationships with his parents and siblings, they might squabble and have their disagreements like typical siblings but ultimately they love each other. I loved how Amy is such a sweet Mom to Cory, what with giving him dinner when he decides to move into his treehouse but she can be a fun Mom too when she was using that Nintendo gun on him in

Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Diff'rent Strokes To Move The World: An Unofficial Diff'rent Strokes Podcast. Today, I covered S1E6: Goodbye Dolly, which aired on December 8, 1978. In this episode after Kimberly donates Arnold's ratty old doll named Homer to charity and it is sold, he can't sleep. Mr. Drummond quickly tires of this, so he hires a detective to try and find the doll. I thought was a cute episode and I got some serious Punky Brewster Season 1 vibes from the comparison of Arnold losing his doll Homer (it's actual a Paddington Bear) and Punky losing her doll in the Bye Bye My episode, where Punky was grieving her of not just her doll but another connection being severed between her old life with her Mom and moving forward with her new life with Henry she learns to accept a new doll she names Henrietta after, you guessed it, Henry. I felt this episode kinda short changed us, Arnold had not been sleeping for days since he usually sleep with his doll and also was keeping the family

Happy New Year's Eve Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of the Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast. Today, as we say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021, I decided to cover another holiday themed bonus episode of Boy Meets World S3E10: Train Of Fools, which aired on December 15, 1995. In this episode with no mode of transportation to get to the party, the teens have no choice but to spend New Year's Eve in an abandoned subway car. I enjoyed this episode even though Eric got on my nerves, I lost count of how many times the name Rebecca Alex was said and breezed over the uninteresting side plot of Jonathan Turner and Eli and Jonathan's multiple ex-girlfriends. Honestly, I would have rather seen how Alan and Amy's night turned out especially since they had to drive Eric's junk heap car Lucille. I enjoyed Shawn's fun loving attitude after the train car stalls he makes his way to the other train cars and meets a lot of other characters from a pregnant lady to some religious school girls

Hey Tanner, Fuller, Gibbler Fans, Angela Bowen here the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today in honor of Dashiell and Fox Messitt's (who share the role of Tommy Fuller Jr.) Birthdays, I decided to cover Fuller House S3E13: A Tommy Tale, which aired on December 22, 2017. In this episode D.J. attempts to get Tommy into a prestigious preschool known as The Center For Discovery, but he has to pass the interview first, Max is ready to give his report on Ancient Rome at school, but winds up with a high fever and is ordered back to bed, Max and his cunning ways lead to an hilarious escape attempt complete with him wearing a toga and escaping out the window of his bedroom. Jackson and Ramona are dressed for Pioneer Day at school (granted Ramona more resembled Little House On The Prairie and Jackson was giving off serious Amish vibes with his solid blue shirt and vest). Also they have to give up their electronics, so no phones or tablets and especially no Doritos.

Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Well, we've come to the end of the show and the end of the podcast with the two final episodes of Silver Spoons. It's sad to think about, after covering this show for over two years and all that has happened in my life since then. I'm going to miss Rick and the rest of the Stratton clan along with Dexter and Alfonso and let's not forget those that have moved on from the show, Leonard (Edward's first assistant in Season 1), Derek Taylor, and Freddy Lippencottleman (Rick's Friends) all memorable and definitely unforgettable in their own way. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the last episode in the Full House Jesse & Becky: The Next Chapter New Parents Series, with Full House S7E12: Support Your Local Parents, which aired on November 30, 1993. In this episode Jesse and Becky are concerned that Nicky and Alex won't socialize with other kids, and attend a parent support group. In the meantime, Stephanie and Michelle learn D.J. has received a traffic ticket and request full access to her wardrobe or they'll tell Danny. I enjoyed this episode, Jesse learns to ask for help when it comes to raising their twins and there's no shame in support groups and he and Becky both learn to spend time with their (non preferred, example, Jesse is always with Nicky and Becky is always with Alex) twins separately so they'll form individual personalities and interests(hopefully non Elvis and Beach Boy related). Happy Holidays Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of the new 2021 BMW Podcast, The World According To Cory: An Unofficial Boy Meets World Podcast. Today for the Christmas Season I decided to cover, Boy Meets World, S5E11: A Very Topanga Christmas, which aired on December 19, 1997. In this episode Topanga spends her first Christmas at the Matthews home. Cory is happy at first but when traditions clash, he starts to have misgivings about their future together. I enjoyed this episode, I loved that Cory and Topanga had different traditions for the holidays, and I also loved Shawn and Jack together as brothers trying to find something in common and make a tradition of their own. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Together, We're Gonna Find Our Way: An Unofficial Silver Spoons Podcast. Today, I covered S5E21: Pardon My French, which aired on February 27, 1987. In this episode Grandfather Stratton returns from France, surprising everyone with his much younger fiancée. I liked this episode, I was a little suspicious of Grandfather Stratton's fiancée's intentions at first, but turns out the one who had the real problem and came off as a giant jerk to the point of being downright aggravating was Edward. He was incredibly insulting to Jacqueline. Claiming French women are all the same, labeling her a gold digger. Thankfully Edward's father corrects him and puts him in his place. I loved the scene between Jacqueline and Rick as she gives him advice on how to handle his now ex girlfriend Chrissy and win her back. and S5E22: Educating Rick, which aired on March 2, 1987. Today, I'm covering the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: The Next Chapter: New Parents Series, Full House S7E4: Tough Love, which aired on October 5, 1993. In this episode Nicky and Alex's behavior gets out of hand when Becky and Jesse can't bring themselves to discipline them; when Jesse finally puts his foot down he starts to regret it after the boys call him 'mean daddy'. I enjoyed this episode, Jesse and Becky come to the realization that their twin toddlers are out of control and in reality they should have been disciplining them a while ago instead of waiting till they were two and are wreaking havoc in the Tanner home. Vicki's monthly visit to see Danny leads her to opt out of going to a restaurant with all 10 of them and instead volunteering her services to cook for everyone in the Tanner home. Today, I covered the next episode in the Jesse & Becky: The Next Chapter: New Parents Series, with Full House S5E21: Yours, Mine and Ours, which aired on March 3, 1992. In this episode Jesse and Becky disagree on how to raise Nicky and Alex. Today, I kick off the new Full House Series, Jesse & Becky: The Next Chapter: New Parents in Full House: S5E11: Nicky and/or Alex, which aired on November 19, 1991. In this episode back home from the hospital, Jesse can't tell his identical twin sons, Nicky and Alex, apart. Meanwhile, Danny likes his new, temporary co-host, Vicky Larson. I enjoyed this episode. Jesse is so determined to be the perfect dad that after he takes the color coded baby booties off his identical newborn twin sons feet and can't tell who is who, as well as dealing with Becky's "mood swings" or postpartum depression he decides to hide this fact from her until he can restore them to their rightful identity. I found out that there are many ways to tell your twins apart as babies and the color coding system is one of the ways, as well as distinguishing physical features such as birthmarks or if one is

Today, I'm covering Full House S6E7: Trouble In Twin Town, which aired on November 10, 1992, in honor of Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit's (who played Nicky and Alex Katsopolis on Full House and Fuller House)Birthday, November 29, 1990. Hard to believe they're 30 years old this year. Yikes! Where did the time go. In this episode Becky's snobby cousins come to town to enter their daughters in a twin contest; Jesse is determined to show up Dick Donaldson and enters Nicky and Alex as well. Meanwhile, at the contest, Stephanie meets twin boys and pretends she's a twin to be with them. This episode really was fun but also caused my hackles to raise due to Becky's snobbish cousins Dick and Donna Donaldson who flew all the way from Nebraska to enter their twin daughters Debbie and Darla in a Favorite Twins Competition in San Francisco. In this episode when Brad's father goes out of town for a few days, Rick invites him to stay with the Strattons despite Edward's misgivings. But after Brad creates constant chaos in the house, even Rick finds it difficult to defend him. Wow, I gotta say, my feelings of irritation were temporarily put on hold this episode and I actually felt for Brad towards the end until I found out where he gets his behavior from. and S5E15: Band On The Run, which aired on February 16, 1987. In this episode Alfonso quits Rick's band when they refuse to take his girlfriend's suggestions. I really couldn't stand Alfonso's girlfriend and only wished he realized sooner what a toxic relationship he was in. Happy Full House Fuller House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the last entry in the Back To School Part 2 Series with Fuller House S4E7: President Fuller, which aired on December 14, 2018. In this episode Max runs for fourth-grade class president - but his girlfriend Rose is running, too. DJ tries to make up with CJ, and Steph picks a fight with a clown. I really enjoyed this episode and I feel Max learns a valuable lesson about what's more important friends or winning. We see a side of Max in the episode that feels a little out of context, I'm referring to the video he made of Rose, it could be looked at as a smear campaign but I see this as a form of bullying and I really think DJ should have addressed it as such, this scene reminded me of when Popko made that humiliating video of Ramona as a dancing hippo and uploaded it for the world to see. Happy Thanksgiving Tanner, Fuller Gibbler Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Thanksgiving I covered, Fuller House S5E12: Cold Turkey, which aired on June 2, 2020. In this episode holiday traditions go out the window when Steph cooks her first Thanksgiving dinner- and Danny, Jesse and Joey get locked inside a freezer.
