  • GrowCast Episode 4: How to Grow Hydroponic Weed

    03/01/2016 Duración: 31min

In Which The Stoner Mom Goes on a Non-Related Tangent *Note: Since the day my husband decided he was going to start growing hydro, he has annoyingly sung Lana del Rey's "Brooklyn Baby" to me at random times throughout the day. For like, months now. MONTHS!!! And, since he outlines the show notes for his podcast but I actually write them, he had of course inserted his dumb joke/reference into today's post. I'm taking it out, and combating his terrible impersonation with listening to dance mixes of our queen of sadness. Here's one I love, queued up to the hydroponic weed. I AM SO OBSESSED WITH THIS REMIX.* https://youtu.be/B0E053G7MUM?t=3m49s   How to Grow Hydroponic Weed: An Introduction There are tons of references to hydroponic weed in all sorts of songs. In fact, the term "chronic" for weed comes from Snoop Dogg's stonedly thinking his dealer said "hydrochronic" instead of "hydroponic". For realz. Hydroponic weed is marijuana made from cannabis plants growing in water instead of soil. That's right. No

  • GrowCast Episode 2: How to Grow Weed in Soil

    20/12/2015 Duración: 32min

The Dirt on Dirt In Episode 1 David rambled on about the why's of growing cannabis on your own. He covered materials and supplies, planning a grow space, and shared some of his favorite resources. In Episode 2 he starts to get specific and delves deep into the topic of soil. Soil and its specs are an excellent subject for circle-jerking in online forums. We don't do that in this episode. Rather, David covers the ins and outs of growing weed in soil, and gives some non-preachy insight on how he does it. In GrowCast Episode 2: Pros of choosing to grow weed in soil. What should you watch-out for when you grow weed in soil? Soil = Bugs. How to deal. Organic, miracle grow, dirt from the yard. What soil should you use to grow weed? The complexities of Super Soil. • How to Grow Weed

    14/12/2015 Duración: 29min

On Podcasting My husband likes to talk. A lot. He's one of those extroverted, bold, constantly yakking, tapping, bobbing, noise-making people. I am NOT one of those people. Other than my preference for loud music, I am a virtually silent person. I appear beside people alone in rooms. Never has this been clearer than our first few attempts at podcasting. See we're planning on having two podcasts; The Stoner Mom Podcast, hosted by me, and more about the stuff I write about. David's GrowCast is about how to grow weed, something I don't really know jack about. So we started recording mine first, and the task was plodding, arduous, and full of the usual Stoner Mom hysterics when forced to speak. Honest to god, it's one of the reasons I smoke weed! I am so uptight, so painfully shy sometimes, I can hardly release my jaws. So I puffed angrily on my bong to loosen up, and then robotically read my scripts (not a good idea for me) and spent hours of our time, only for us to mutually agree that uh... I sucked and need
