Acts 2:5 Who WERE the people who gathered in Jerusalem on the Feast of Shavuot, also known as Day of Pentecost? We tend to think they were “Christians” from all over the Middle East. Did you know that, besides the Jews of the Southern kingdom, that there were also many members of the tribes from the Northern kingdom who came to Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Shavuot? For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain. Acts 28:20 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Ezekiel 37:11 In Ezekiel 37, we see a landscape of scattered dry bones. The Lord asks him, “Ezekiel, can these dry bones live?” He answers, “Lord, you know.” Then the Lord tells him to prophesy to the dry bones. Who/what are these dry bones? They are the whole house of Israel, all 12 tribes, both Northern and Southern Kingdom. What is the hope of Israel? It is that the scattered bones, the exiles of Israel, would be gathered together and reunited. In a recent article from Rabbi Kahana, he speaks about the gathering of the ten tribes from faraway lands. http://nachmankahana.com/ki-taitzai-5777/ This article expresses a point of view from a highly respected Rabbi in Israel, that he is looking for a miraculous and marvelous ingathering of the exiles of the 10 tribes of the northern kingdom to return to Israel. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Exodus 31: 13-17 tells us that keeping the Sabbath is a sign of the eternal and perpetual covenant between us and God and that the children of Israel are to keep the Sabbath throughout all generations. From a Jewish perspective, the God of Israel is “Ein Sof” is explained in human terms to manifest Himself to the natural world by causing His eternal light to become a prism. This prism that reveals the attributes of “Eif Sof” and His Will in creation is known as “Sefirot.” There are ten “Sefirot” which are called the “Tree of Life”. They form three pillars which represent the “Godhead of “Ein Sof”. The middle pillar of the godhead is known as “Metatron” and the “Son of God and is the invisible image of “Ein Sof”. The Jewish view of”Metatron” matches descriptions of Yeshua in the New Testament. The numeral value of the attributes of the middle pillar of the Godhead is 26 which is the numerical value for YHVH. In Yeshua dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9).
