Is our current way of doing church the best way we could be doing church and if not, how can it be improved? This is a question I’m sure all of us have asked at some point and in this week’s episode we explore our experiences and where we find our current way of doing church to be lacking as well as suggest some ideas that we would love to see explored to make our churches better.

In this week’s episode we talk about why it is so hard to change our minds, especially when it comes to things that are close to us and who we are. We are often so close minded particularly the older we get and its hard to stay open to new ideas; ideas that could improve our lives, give us new understanding or at the very least help us to understand the person expressing them better. With a new idea it can lead to being a good thing or a bad thing but if we are closed off, we will never know.

The final part of this series addresses some of the solutions to the problem of spiritual burnout. Listen along as we explore things like stepping away for a season, reevaluating our lives, reviewing boundaries and restoring equilibrium to your experience.
