  Chef Chris Barcia and wife Beth gave Ty and I an opportunity to interview General Hospital legend, Kim McCullough. Beth and Chris own Palazzo 53 in the rejuvenated City of Pittston, PA. Palazzo 53 has become the anchor of a renaissance growth on Main Street, in Pittston PA. Several months back I had the privilege of interviewing Councilman Michael Lombardo about the rebirth of Main St. USA and he mentioned Palazzo as one of the keys to Pittston, becoming a model for other small cities in North East PA (NEPA). The Virtual Lounge is open. The bottles are corked, and the wine is flowing... Thomas Sobieski has been a mainstay in the restaurant industry for decades. Tom has served tables, managed dining rooms and greeted guests for years in the NEPA dining scene. Better known as Tommy, Sobieski has made his biggest impacts mixing spirits and making guests laugh and feel comfortable. The beverage manager at many local-area restaurants, Tommy has found his home at The Beaumont Inn as General Manager and the Wine Semmolier. Attending the prestigious Wine School of Philadelphia, Tommy has found his niche. Sobieski will join a select club of certified Sommoliers' in the Northeaster Region of Pennsylvania. Cookbook Series: 1st Edition For our 1st entry into our Cookbook Series, we welcome Chef Gary Edwards to the Virtual Lounge. Chef Gary is a long-time friend of Nick Gelso, he has been a hallmark of the NEPA culinary industry for over 2 decades. Edwards' experience includes country clubs, resorts, hotels and now his own property, Fire and Ice on Toby Creek. When not in the kitchen, Gary can often be seen running or riding his bike through the streets of the Kingston area; exercising and fitness has always been a big part of the chef's life.
