Not For Nothin'

We go hard again on Christmas, especially the egg nog. Unfortunately Kris probably has COVID now, so that's gonna ruin the festival holiday season for everyone. So we'll just get to week 15 NFL picks and call it a day.

Gardner Minshew is back and so is Christmas! It's no miracle, it's just the best time of the year. The fellas break down their favorite Xmas songs and movie (spoiler alert...it's Love Actually). They also keep talking regional sports radio & how Chris misses the big apple stations. To end the show they go for the true miracle, trying to get any of the week 14 games right.

The boys are back from they holidays from hell. Why do we even celebrate Thanksgiving anymore? Everyones already on to Christmas before this holiday even begins. To make matter worse we force ourselves to spend way too much time with family. We're on to week 13 pickings for the NFL games. Carry on.

Well, we've found him. Chris was MIA last week, but he was found inside a Vegas sports book sucking back Red Bulls. It's really just a sad and boring story. Much like Las Vegas itself. The boys move on from their critique of "sin city" to their Thanksgiving day thoughts. I'm sure you find this whole episode so fascinating. Even their weekly picks are boring as they just try to game the system by picking all the road dogs.

This whole episode is basically about taking sides. Kris is team Munn (he's a Munner, through and through), while Chris takes everyone else. They decide to switch sides to Aaron Rodgers family. Hindsight's a bitch. They are definitely team OBJ for life. Cause there is now way in hell the'd ever side with Baker, that's for sure. Then they finish it off picks sides on every NFL games for week 9. Unfortunately, no matter which side they choose it's usually the losing side. Sorry boys that's just facts.

This is a half-hearted Halloween spectacular show. They talk a little about scary movies, and Kris found himself in a not-so-scary altercation with a crazy lady over a parking spot. I guess whatever happens in Vegas, to Chris, doesn't stay in Vegas. The scariest part of the show is these two trying to gambling on every NFL game... amirite?

We celebrate Chris's birthday in style... nowhere near each other and having to do a podcast. Oh Chris is also working which on vacation at a beach house. Lamest. Birthday. Ever. We celebrate the Chicago Sky WNBA championship and then try to keep the winning streak going, trying to figure out the slate on week 7 NFL games. Its a madhouse of a show, but we keep it tight!

Um, these guys are all over the place to start the show. But to sum it up, everyone sucks and are pieces of shi*t, except Allen Iverson. He's cool. Otherwise the guys try to rebound from a soft week 5 of gambling. We're on to week 6 obviously.

Kris bemoans his housing troubles. Fricking stoner roofers man. Doesn't sound like he has a good history with roofs. Chris wants to come up with a good taunt for Big Ben, when he visits Heinz Field. Then they surprisingly and quickly move onto picking all of week 5 games in the NFL. Even the ones that suck. That's it, that's the show.

We should name this episode "Life, Liberty & Lollipops." You'll find out why if you keep listening. Anyway Chris regales us with a story from the Dentist, and the boys try to get excited about watching women's basketball after dark. Kris recommends a documentary series about Sunderland football. And then eventually these two try to ruin their good fortune of betting on week 3. But if you only take one thing away from this episode it's, Let the old Vet fall and don't help him at all.

Jaguars super fan and future show intern, James joins the podcast to talk well, Jaguars, NFL predictions and trading cards. Wait till he gets into NFT's. After the young man leaves, we go full NFN-after-dark and Chris can finally swear again. We take a listener call and rant against Tim Dilfer, before ending the show with our week 2 picks.

The guys have it out and publicly talk through their argument...about fantasy football? Seriously, what the F*ck you two. They'll definitely waste 20 minutes of everyone time with this. From there they decide to go down the rabbit hole again, and try to gamble on every game, every week of the NFL season. Lets see how this goes again.

We're celebrating 5 years! After 250 episodes, the magic is still strong and we're even discussing what kind of wood to give each other. If you know what I mean. Of course this all leads to the eventual divorce talk as well. But at this stage of our careers, neither can imagine being single. We Eventually move on to sports and might have found an ace to betting on World Series futures. Then breakdown the upcoming NFL Season like no other.

Chris regales us with his adventures running around L.A. barefoot and mask free! It was glorious. Somehow from talking about LA, the boys make a decision to visit the worst sports stadiums in North American. From there they have a long conversation about the greatness of Val Kilmer and the new documentary about him. They shit on baseball and their stupid gimmick ideas. They wrap up the episode with the annual segment - What's That All Aboot? The Canadian cousins weigh in with their thoughts on the NFL season.

The boys yodel their way through this episode. I hope you're wearing your crocs (it's still a thing) and FjordChords for this one. Chris plots to bring down the shitty razor community. Why can't people just walk any more? They shined a light on the women athletes who ruled the Olympics. Also yeah for sportsmanship during the games. As a bonus, there's a lot of WNBA season talk. We do gamble and finish things off with a little NFL trivia!

Just another fun episode where we're talking fun things like baby poop vs. dog poop. We play a game of would you rather. We do mention a few sports related topics, but they're not as fun. Because one of them has to do with the Manning Bros. Ick. Go enjoy the dog days of summer everyone. Get out of the house.

Chris tries to Croc shame Kris, while also getting some advice on a retaliation prank that Chris might have taken too far. Actually, he did take it too far. But is it really that big of a deal? They end up talking about the NBA Finals and mentally prepare for the upcoming NBA Draft, NFL season and more gambling. Brook Lopez is an NBA Champion people!

This is a crazy evening episode, like we originally used to do. I think these guys had a few before hand. They get into it, and it's mostly not about sports. They express their opinions on where they would never move to, Chris's bad prank follow up and how Crocs are the Dallas Cowboys of footwear. They have a listener voicemail that leads down a raging river of onions on international basketball, societies attitudes and notions of women and sports. The big take away is how the Baby Boomer generation just sucks. Which means they don't have much time to focus on the NBA Draft, which was supposed to be the focus of this episode. Chris does his best, worst Elvis impression to hide his cold. We want more Kenny Loggins documentaries, plus Chris has a great idea for another documentary music breakups. We need to know what happened to the other side, damn it! We're kinda tired of talking about stupid mens sports and their stupid old-ass ways. Luckily we have the WNBA and Candace Parker! They just know how to do it. Kris advocates for Melo to be a permanent fixture on all men's Olympic basketball teams. That should be his thing. Finally we figure out some gambling moves to make on the NBA Finals.
