Don't Stop
22/05/2016Everything has a starting point. Every person, every idea, every journey. We all have questions about life: why we’re here, where we’re going, what we believe. Everyone believes in something, and that starts somewhere. We may not talk about this a lot, but we all think about it at various times. Some of us may have believed something about God and faith as children, but there has been a growing gap between that and what we have experienced as adults. Sometimes adults need a new starting point. If we had never heard any stories about God, or didn’t really know anything about faith, where would we start? Can we hit the restart button? We are going to try and do just that! It doesn’t matter who you are or what you believe or where you’re from. Let’s have a conversation… about life, about our questions, about what really matters, even about faith. Starting Point. Find your place in the story.

Let's Talk About Moms
08/05/2016Some moms have been moms for a long time. Some moms have just recently become moms. Some moms have lots of children. Some moms have one, or perhaps one on-the-way. Some moms are grandmothers, or even great-grandmothers. Some moms aren’t quite there yet. Some moms have family living close. Some moms have family living far away. Some moms are with us. Some moms are in our memories. But we want you to know that all moms are a gift from God and we love you!

Once and For All
27/03/2016Christ died for our sins. He was buried, and raised on the third day, according to Holy Scripture, and this is the event that has brought us hope. This is the event that has brought us victory. This is the event that has brought us security and freedom. This is the event that brings us together, to celebrate, on Easter Sunday morning!

Holding on to Hope
20/03/2016If you’ve watched the weather network lately, you likely noticed that so many places in the world are experiencing their share of storms. Whether you’re out in a boat, walking on the street, or hiding in your home, storms can threaten your journey, your possessions, your safety, your very life. In the past year we have seen so many people experience many kinds of storms as well. Storms of difficulty, hurt, tragedy, trauma. Storms that threaten to shake us to our very core. When they do come, is it possible to be unshaken in the midst of them? To come through them with more strength, courage, stability and maturity than we had before? It really depends on who we’re trusting in, what we’re building on, and what we’re holding onto. In this series we will look at the storms of life, and how we can survive them and be unshaken no matter which ones we may face. Part 1: Trusting in the Master Part 2: Building on the Rock Part 3: Holding on to Hope Wrap Up

Of course, you could catch them only when they were airing, and it didn't matter if you missed some episodes. At Gateway Church we’re doing something new called Back to the Bible, starting with Season One: Love Stories. These aren't shallow, superficial love stories, but stories about brothers, lovers, friends and life partners – ones that are deep, selfless and inspiring. Wrap Up
31/01/2016How our seasons can tell the story. We are definitely in the winter season, whether the weather has felt like it or not. In this part of the world, when you look at the seasons, it’s like each of them tells a story. One is about growing and developing, one is about thriving and resting, one is about maturing and reaping, and one is about waiting and anticipating. The seasons of the year are very much like the seasons of our lives. Whether you are in the spring, summer, autumn or winter of your life, every season has a story. And what we do in those seasons tells our story, often louder than we could tell it ourselves. This includes what we do with our time, our resources, our very lives. We believe your life has something to say. We also believe that God invites you into His story, and that He wants to bless your life. In this series we will discover how our seasons can tell the story, and maybe even hear what God wants to say about that as well.
