MagicBand+ Unlocks New Interactive Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort Disney PhotoPass service and more. The next-generation MagicBand+ will retain those popular features and add new functionality to unlock experiential moments of magic throughout the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts. In the Disney animated film “Destino,” from which the tower takes its name, the immortal Chronos is in love with the mortal Dahlia. This passion shines through in the Dahlia Lounge, a convivial room that shares the tower’s rooftop with Tolédo – Tapas, Steaks & Seafood. The heroine inspires the lounge’s visual aesthetics – from dandelion chandeliers and metal bell accents to ceiling coffers with swirling patterns reminiscent of her flowing hair. Cocktails are crafted by expert mixologists, while wines from California and Spain include high-end canvas handpicked by the master sommelier. The Seas with Nemo & Friends is located in the World Nature section of Walt Disney World’s Epcot, The original living seas pavilion opened in 1986. "Wonderful World of Animation", recently made its return to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios, Center Stage. Projected onto the Chinese Theater, the show chronicles the journey through 90 years of Disney and Pixar animations and includes blasts from the past and rarely seen characters as well as new favorites and classic stories. The Festival of the Lion King is an Animal Kingdom Must do for most, opening in 1998. The show was relocated from Camp Minnie-Mickey to an indoor seating location in Animal Kingdom’s Africa in 2014 to make way for Pandora the World of Avatar. The show isn’t a recreation of the movie, but rather a celebration of music and culture of the Lion King. Post pandemic, the show returned as "A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” a modified version mindful of the continuing pandemic conditions at the time, Adjustments took place onstage and backstage, including updates to choreography and temporarily pausing some show elements to allow for appropriate physical distancing. Most notably, the tumble monkeys. Disney recently announced the return of the original production in the summer 2022, this recording is the post-pandemic, “socially” distanced version.
