Would You Like Franchise With That?

This week, the boys watch... well they are not really sure what that was, but whatever it was it had Rihanna in it. Jack and Cal work on thier Keanu Reeves impersonations and we re-imagine spiderman for a new generation of babies.

This week our Summer spin-off series I Would Like Franchise With That we hack your earholes with Hackers. Jack remembers over his favourite Joey moments in friends and Cal reimagines the bible. Hack the planet!

This week our Summer spin-off series I Would Like Franchise With That continues, as Jack respectfully requests a sequel to 1995's Waterworld! Callan remembers a disturbing scene from Seaquest, and Waterworld made Jack realise he liked movies. MUTATION!!!

We've franchised ourselves, and are very excited to present the first episode of our spin-off series, I Would Like Franchise With That! Strange as it may seem, not all movies have sequels, prequel, four-quels or more-quels, and after 50 episodes of celebrating all the best franchises, we're flipping the script a little. We'll spend the next few months exploring our favourite one-off movies that we wished had sequels, but don't. Yet. This week, sail the seven seas, put your mind at ease, protect the motherland and join your fellow men Jack and Cal as we join the navy and place some pegs with Battleship! Callan doesn't care for Blade Runner or the Godfather but loves Battleship and still expects people to take him seriously, and Jack is reminded of a simpler time.

Get ready for an episode so spooky you'll want to rip off your ding dong. It's the halloweeeen special of FWT feat. Cal, Jack and the titular Castle Freak. Cal tries on a Italian accent and Jack wishes that we had watched The Craft instead. Awwwwww freak out!

This week, we get get wet and multiply after watching Gremlins and Gremlins 2: A new batch.

This week, in protest of the killing of unarmed aquatic reptiles by a trigger-happy force of militarised bushmen, we take the Crocodile Dund-knee and wrestle our way through Crocodile Dundee, Crocodile Dundee 2 and Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles. Jack has a run in with a deadly Australian bike-spider, Nick uncovers Cheech Marin's finest hour, and Callan peed on a snake when he lived under a house. That's not a knife, this is... well actually, I suppose by definition it is a knife, albeit a small one in comparison to my quite big one. I may have jumped the gun on my evaluation. Carry on.

The Knuckles are Up and the Mountains are Mega as we karate chop our way through the third and fourth 3 Ninjas movies. This week, Nick submits some child actors to modern societal beauty standards, Jack still loves movies set in amusement parks, and Callan remarkably manages to be granted a Working With Children Check.

This episode we tackle Nick's childhood favourite, 3 Ninjas and 3 Ninjas Kick Back. Jack went to high school with Sonic the hedgehog. Nick regrets picking this franchise, and Cal... well let's not talk about Cal. AYA!

Join us as we don our buttless chaps and journey into the wasteland for a Max-travaganza of V8's, violence and thinly-veiled homoeroticism with Mad Max and Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior! Jack plays one video game a year, Callan introduces us to Mad Max's Scottish counterpart, and special guest host Nick Taras learns about modern match technology.

This week, we re-acquaint ourselves with the Tall Man as Phantasm 3: Lord of the Dead introduces some new members to the gang, nothing happens in Phantasm 4: OblIVion, and a fan-made tribute gets out of hand, resulting in Phantasm 5: Ravager. Callan is still loving Twin Peaks, Alex remains concerned about Reggie being a sexual predator and Jack tries to watch Phantasm 5 with some friends and now no longer has those friends. Thanks again to Alex for filling the third chair in the Franchise With That studio for the last few months. We wish him all the best for his big exciting overseas adventure!

This week on WYLFWT we get goofy with The Naked Gun, The Naked Gun 2 1/2 and The Naked Gun 33 1/3. Jack get's some good hard rubbish, Cal tries out a new accent and Alex does his very best to remember the paper thin plots of the 3 movies.

This week on Would You Like Phranchise With That, we phace our phears with Phantasm and Phantasm II! Callan has a fever dream, Alex can't make it though The Babadook, and Jack wishes he was watching a Sandra Bullock movie.

On this episode of WYLFWT we step into our sarcophagus, scoop out all our internal organs and wrap ourselves in bandages for The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and The Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Jack get's hung up on snake grammar, Callan finds out some bad news about Billy Zane and Alex "The Rock" Robertson appears as a giant computer generated scorpion at the end.

Buckle your seatbelts and charge your proton packs, this week on WYLFWT we take on Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II and Ghostbusters 2016. Jack has some suggestions for alternate reboot titles, Cal starts a new business venture and Alex kinda didn't mind the new Ghostbusters movie. I ain't afraid of no Ghost!

Yo Adrian, we did it! We came out bruised, bloody and with big gross swollen eyelids, but we made it through seven rounds of going toe-to-toe with Sly Stallone's Rocky series. This episode of WYLFWT? covers Rocky IV (incl. the sex robot Rocky buys for his best friend), Rocky V, Rocky Balboa and Creed. Alex keeps us updated with the scores of the Federer/Kyrgios match, Jack would watch another 7 Rocky movies, and Callan keeps talking about reacharounds. Also, Rocky buys his best friend a sex robot in Rocky 4. We really can't stress that enough.

Welcome Mister Carlton, Mister Yarraville and Mister Preston to the First Annual Mister Podcast Australia Pageant! This week, in preparation for the swimsuit round and the talent quest, our lovely contestants settled in for a viewing of the early-to-mid-2000's lady-led comedy masterpiece duo of Miss Congeniality and Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. Callan wishes he'd Missed Congeniality, Alex learns the wonders of 1.5 speed, and the only thing Jack likes as much as Sandra Bullock is Tom Jones.

We're back in back in black twice over, as we wrap up our look at the Men in Black series with Men and Black 3 and spiritual predecessor Wild Wild West! Alex regails us with stories of his favourite childhood film, Henry the 5th, Jack explains the most recent developments at MovieWorld: Hollywood on the Gold Coast, and Callan tells of his exploits as an extra in Flipper the TV series.
