The Inquisitor is dead. The Ghost crew has connected with other rebel cells. And a new ally named Ahsoka Tano has emerged. Despite these successes and developments, the fight against the Empire takes a deadly turn, as the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader comes to Lothal. The premiere continues the events of the first season, as the rebel crew of the Ghost adjusts to their new missions within the larger rebellion. After receiving a call for help from Minister Maketh Tua, who wants the rebels to help her defect from the Galactic Empire in exchange for vital Imperial secrets, the rebels return to Lothal only to find that they have entered an Imperial trap. *** A 5-Minute BizzleCast PSA re: number of podcast releases Dear BizzleCast Listeners: A quick announcement and clarification about BizzleCast podcast releases. Listeners have probably noticed a significant increase in regularity and number of podcast releases in recent months, which has been a result of both an influx of new regular and semi-regular contributors and guests as well as an uptick of downloads and positive responses by you wonderful people! However, as I’ve re-dedicated myself to producing and sharing commentaries for all 75 or so episodes of the wonderful Star Wars Rebels, I have quickly realized that I am flirting with over-saturation, especially since the average Rebels episode is 23 minutes long and the average BizzleCast episode with my amazing guests and occasional film commentaries are between 90 minutes and two hours long. While I briefly considered “packaging” my Rebels commentaries into 3-4 episode individual podcasts, I don’t think this would be ideal for two reasons. Firstly,

“Fire Across The Galaxy” — the spectacular finale to Season One of Rebels — continues and wraps up the events of "Call to Action" and "Rebel Resolve," with the Rebels on a mission to rescue their leader, Kanan Jarrus, from the Galactic Empire. A massive battle takes place between the Empire and Rebel forces above Mustafar, Darth Vader and Bail Organa return, Kanan faces the Inquisitor one last time, and Fulcrum's identity is revealed as former Padawan and fan favorite AHSOKA TANO!!! "Fire Across the Galaxy" is the fifteenth and final episode of the first season of Star Wars Rebels. It is the fifteenth episode of the series overall. "Idiot's Array" is the eleventh episode of the first season of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels. It is the eleventh episode of the series overall. The episode centers around the crew of the Ghost working for Lando Calrissian, after Garazeb Orrelios loses a sabacc bet to the smuggler and gambler. Calrissian uses the crew to his own ends in order to begin a mining operation on Lothal, while at the same time evading a crime lord called Azmorigan. In “Path of the Jedi”, Kanan Jarrus and his Padawan, Ezra Bridger, travel to a Jedi Temple on Lothal, where Ezra can test his readiness to be trained as a Jedi. Ezra makes his way through the temple alone and confronts his fear of abandonment, manifested through visions of the Grand Inquisitor killing his friends. Along the way, both Ezra and Kanan — who must also confront his own fears of inadequacy as a teacher — are guided from afar by Jedi Master Yoda. It’s hard to believe, but in the early 90s, the Sega Genesis dominated Nintendo’s NES and even the SNES for a number of years based on pure guts, bravado, great salesmanship, and unbridled enthusiasm in marketing and branding. However, Nintendo’s slower but steadier old-school and even conservative approach ultimately won out in spectacular fashion, which was nevertheless accelerated by the meddling and infighting within Sega of Japan. Ethan aka El_Fedorable and I have a wide-ranging discussion about the history of video games that takes CONSOLE WARS as its starting point and leads to a wider talk about our own history of gaming and what the future holds for Nintendo as well as more recent rivals Sony and Microsoft. I can’t recommend this book highly enough — and the audiobook is one of the best I’ve ever listened to — and the fact that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have optioned the book for a film should tell you how surprisingly gripping and epic this tale of two titans is. Like all the X-Men movies, except for a couple true stinkers (looking at you, Last Stand and Origins), APOCALYPSE gets better with each watching, and I actually liked it a lot when I first saw it, which wasn’t a popular opinion. The final battle puts the CIVIL WAR airport battle to shame in terms of both effects and true emotional stakes, and while it’s slow to get going, once Quicksilver shows up and the young ones start developing their powers things really take off in the second half of the film. If they can stick the landing next year with DARK PHOENIX, this new X-Men cast will go down as one of the best ensemble casts in any major film property in this Bizzle’s humble (and totally biased) opinion.
