On today’s episode we discuss the Super Bowl. Not so much about the game but more about the half time show and the commercials. Lady Gaga did a wonderful job with the half time. She is not fat by the way. Its very funny to us that some political commentators (on the right) completely missed the massive political statement she started the show with. This land is all of our land indeed. Then we touch upon the commercials. They were very political this time around and considering everything that has happened, it seems very appropriate. We touch on immigration and undocumented folks. Its a very delicate situation and must not be treated flippantly. Also, we talk a little about race and how its a social and political construct. On today’s episode we talk about the best (or worst, depending if you’re happy with life or not) day of the year: Valentines Day. But first a little catching up on Rubi and her surgery. She had to have her gallbladder removed, but is back and better than ever! Then we talk about V-Day. Wether you are alone or with a significant other its a day to celebrate and have fun. Like every other day. Don’t let it get you down if you are alone or with a lousy lover. Be strong and fabulous. Plus, we talk about what has been happening politically. Melissa McCarthy as the worst Spice Girl: Nazi Spice is the best thing in the world! Trump is making comedy and Saturday Night Live great again. Keep getting under his thin skin kids! As dopey as President W Bush was he was never a piece of dirt like this current president is. Why do we say this? Because any president who thinks he is above the law is not worthy of being the Commander in Chief. We also applaud and hope Elizabeth Warren keeps persisting and will run in 2020. Sh

We maybe a little late on information and the latest breaking news, but Rubi went into surgery and we recoded this a week ago. In advance of her absence. Its been only two weeks (depending on when you are listening/ reading this) and this administration feels like its been going on for about a decade. Also, we remind you what are the checks and balances of government. And remember kids, impeachment means just to put on trial, NOT to throw someone out.
