Robert talks about going from being a jazz, funk, blues, and soul musician to being in Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Metallica and more. He tells a great story about Rocky George from Suicidal Tendencies reading jazz charts and playing Wes Montgomery music in a smoking jacket after rocking hardcore shows. he also talks about how the Jaco Pastorius documentary has brought him close to Jazz greats that have professed their love for Metallica.

Robert Talks about the fact that he's worked with lots of artists during the darkest part of their lives. He opens up about working with Zakk Wylde, Jerry Cantrell, Ozzy, and of course Metallica. He plays it down, but it turns out he's been an incredible source of positive energy as well as a great musician. He talks about how he deals with people and solves problems. he also tells a great story about Jerry Cantrell coming to his home to stay sober and flooding his bathroom.

We wrap up. Robert talks about how blessed he is to be close friends with so many musicians he admires, we discover a six degrees of separation situation with our past, and discuss the future, including the Jaco Pastorius movie release and where he's jamming after his comic con panel.
