Have you ever gone through something that felt like a weight and left you discouraged? Maybe you struggle with fear, feeling the world's weight on your shoulders. That fear and weight is no surprise to God. The Bible says, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." As we dive into this message, we learn that following Jesus isn't about finishing but about being faithful along the way.

The first letter in Revelation was written to the church in Ephesus. Jesus commends them for their hard work and patience. But he points out one thing, they have forsaken their first love. It’s a heart condition that any of us can easily fall into. As we dive into this first message of our series, why we can easily lose that love and how we can rekindle that love Jesus and for those around us.

Throughout this series, we’ve discovered that serving others is the only worthwhile way to live. In this final message, Jesus describes how we should live differently, using the image of a seed planted in the ground. Farmers know how to use a seed to produce a harvest. In the same way, we live lives that honor God. It’s not an invitation to throw our lives away but to surrender to truly live.

Every person who follows Jesus has been given a gift. Sometimes they’re called Spiritual Gifts. These gifts are given to each person to enable us to serve in a distinct way. In this message, we’ll look at several ways we’re empowered to serve that are outlined in Scripture. You’ll also have an opportunity to examine what gifts you have been given to bless people around you.

The book of Proverbs is kind of like the Bible’s lifehack section. It’s a book of wisdom that we can apply to our lives. So, what does Proverbs have to say about relationships? To get rest right, you must get work right. Our culture today praises an overworked lifestyle, believing the lie that people who work hard are more productive. The reality is that we need to rest, or we will eventually wear out. We need to Sabbath well. In this message, discover the goodness and rest found through better work.

God instructs Followers of Jesus to "remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." But how do we keep the Sabbath in our 21st century, 24/7, edge-of-your-seat world? In this message, we learn how to Sabbath by looking at God's first Sabbath. After God created the universe in 6 days, He rested - He observed the first Sabbath. Doubts don't make you an unbeliever; they make you human. Struggling with doubt can lead to stronger faith. In God's Word, there is a promise to the seeker that if you seek Me, you will find Me. May we be encouraged to seek Jesus because the God of the universe is ready to be found.

Why are many people "done" with the church? Maybe it's hypocrisy or the hurtful actions of a pastor, and perhaps the "Christianity" that someone grew up with was revealed as legalistic or consumeristic. Thankfully, we don't have to throw out our whole faith because of past experiences. We can trust Jesus' words just as Peter did when he declared, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."

Everybody has doubts. Doubt is simply being uncertain about something, and there is plenty of uncertainty in our world. Some uncertainty leads to questions of faith, the Bible, or even God.
