Anxiety is a severe issue today, a struggle most people face to some degree. Often we question whether we can turn to God when we worry, assuming He will reprimand us for not measuring up. Through the story of Elijah, we see that God doesn’t condemn us or leave us in our anxiety; instead, He invites us to trust Him to walk through it with us.

On June 30th, 2013, Brendan McDonough, a firefighter in an elite squad called the Granite Mountain Hotshots, lost 19 of his brothers fighting a wildfire in Yarnell, Arizona.This tragedy led him back to addiction, depression, and PTSD. Brendan opens up about his journey of struggle and hope as he found community and faith that would powerfully restore his life.

What do you do when you don’t like yourself? Feelings of low-self worth impact many people to some degree. Some people may lack confidence that they can succeed or even feel they don’t matter. Others may feel there is something fundamentally wrong with who they are. In this message, we address the lie of shame and self-condemnation so we can discover how God sees us and how His love changes everything.

Depression can feel like being trapped in a dark cave. It can feel overwhelming and hopeless. Most of all, it can cause us shame. God's love is unconditional. That means there's nothing we can do to earn His love and nothing we can do to lose it. Through the story of the Prodigal Son, Jesus illustrates God's love for us that is never out of reach. The question is, will we say yes to the love God extends to us?

Oh, night, divine! Jesus' birth was incredible, not only because it was a moment people were waiting for, but because he was God in the flesh. In this message, we look at the name Emmanuel, which means God with us. He is present with us, walking with us in every moment.

The birth of Jesus was so that those closest to the event couldn't help but break out into song. After Zechariah heard the promise of a coming savior, he sang words of celebration and promise. The lyrics were filled with relief because, finally, God would bring salvation, we would receive mercy, and one day, healing would come to broken relationships between God and His people. And this is still good news for us today.

The first Christmas song wasn’t “Silent Night” or “White Christmas.” It was a song sung by Mary as she responded to the wonderful news of the birth of Jesus. Like Mary, may we learn to say yes, and surrender to the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives.

“I know where you live.” Jesus wrote these words to the church in Pergamum. The city was a place of worship for many gods, and the church stood in stark contrast, proclaiming Jesus as Lord. But Jesus knew the temptation they faced, not to reject Jesus, but to worship Jesus and... To include idol worship in their practices. In this message, those same temptations are ones we face today, and we find hope in the One who calls us to be the light of the world.
