This week's show features a one-and-a-half hour set based on tracks played during a 3-hour session I DJ'd at Washington, DC's infamous Eighteenth Street Lounge on a Saturday night in October of 2010. The order of songs was rearranged to make sense in the forum of this show, so that they capture the overall tone of the music throughout the night, which always goes through many ups and downs in tempo and emotion. It's a massive honor to have played there and I hope you enjoy the music. In September I was invited by Rhythm & Culture Music and Eighteenth Street Lounge to be a part of Rhythm & Culture's first label compilation, The Sound of Rhythm & Culture. It was a great night, featuring a live performance by Second Sky. They did a mixture of their own songs along with some Thomas Blondet and Farid numbers.
