    27/02/2019 Duración: 01h09min

True DetectiveSeason 3, Episode 8 – Season Finale: Now Am Found Written by Nic PizzolattoDirected by: Daniel Sackheim Tell us what you think! Click here to send the us a tip about True Detective  and our podcasts The season finale still held the answers to several questions that still lingered even after the penultimate episode confirmed much of what had been theorized, and yet left several rather large ones unanswered, all while wrapping things up with what certainly has to be the happiest True Detective ending ever… or was it? We suggest you just listen to the podcast!

  • True Detective S3E7 – The Final Country

    19/02/2019 Duración: 01h27min

True DetectiveSeason 3, Episode 7: The Final Country Written by Nic Pizzolatto Directed by: Daniel Sackheim Tell us what you think! Click here to send the us a tip about True Detective  and our podcasts Episode 7 closes some circles with often well-predicted conclusions and yet still manages to leave a few cliffs hanging while also introducing an interesting twist/cliff at the very end of the episode. Click here to send the us a tip about True Detective  and our podcasts With Episode 6 we’re moving into the endgame (see what we did there?) as the list of suspects begins to narrow, though not until another hard, hard look is taken of Tom as a potential suspect. But it’s beginning to look more and more like the Poultry King, Mr. Hoyt, is one of the main players in the fowl play that befell the Purcell kids, though the ultimate mystery of just what Wayne and Roland did, and to whom, still remains to be solved, and the mystery of what happened between Wayne and Amelia is also still out there. Couple that with Dan’s reemergence and the appearance of (the? another?) black man with a cataract at Amelia’s book reading shows that there’s still a lot to discover in the remaining two episodes. It’s just too entwined to summari

So fast that if you blink you may have missed some very important clues, as Wayne hones in on the woman in the Walgreen’s video as Julie, the fate of Lucy in Las Vegas, we witness the exploding mine and resulting shootout at Trash Man’s house, a press conference that both thwarts the 1990 investigation and may in fact aid some of the high-level culprits, the boys pay a 90’s visit to the Black Sunday kid, a dinner party at Roland’s house, some quality time at home with Wayne, Amelia and the kids, we learn that some evidence has gone missing while other may have been planted, and we get the 2015 reunion of Old Wayne and Old Roland at last, though results are mixed! It’s just too entwined to summarize here –

Click here to send the us a tip about True Detective  and our podcasts Episode 4 has a lot going on at a very, very slow pace, as the investigation into the 1980 murder continues with a tip about the little dolls, a vaguely creepy priest, and a lot of various shades of racism. In 1990 the case is officially reopened, Wayne and Roland are officially reunited, and they do manage to ID a girl on the Walgreen’s security tape. And in 2015, Wayne continues to struggle with his memory, though exactly to what degree, and to what degree he’s playing it up in a backhanded re-re-investigation of the case is now open to debate, as is the relationship between his son and the TV show host. It’s just too entwined to summarize here – we suggest you just listen to the podcast!
