  Jay Heaps' six year run as head coach of the New England Revolution has reportedly come to an end. The sacking of Heaps comes with just five remaining matches on the 2017 schedule for New England and follows a crushing week in which the Revs were out-scored a combined 10-1 at Atlanta and Kansas City. A call and text message from Six States One Podcast to New England's communications staff was not immediately returned and the team made no formal announcement regarding the head coach as of late Monday evening.
