  • Drawn Down

    20/07/2020 Duración: 39min

The Revolution had a chance to punch their ticket to the MLS is Back knockout round in their Friday match again DC United, but an unforced error by typically solid Toni Delamea and a somewhat uninspired letdown in play from the rest of the eleven forced them to settle for a disappointing draw that likely left ESPN wondering why they gave these teams a Friday spot in primetime. We'll review the match with Julian Cardillo, of ProSoccerUSA and the Last Word on Soccer and then as the Revs wrap up group play on Tuesday morning against Toronto FC. Tej Sahota, from Waking the Red is gonna stop by and help us preview that match.  Show Guests: Julian Cardillo - @JulianCardillo - Last Word on Soccer & ProSoccerUSA.com Tej Sahota - @boatical - Waking the Red Show Hosts: Ray Sullivan - @RaySullivan Jon Huot - @jonisgreat Find Us On Social: Twitter - @SixStatesOnePod Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/SixStatesOnePod/

  • Un-Bou-lievable

    27/08/2019 Duración: 01h21min

If the Revs do make a return to the playoffs in 2019, Gustavo Bou’s blistering, left-footed strike in the 86th minute Saturday against the Chicago Fire may be seen as a pivotal impetus. New England went up early in the 17th minute when Brandon Bye found a streaking, untouched Wilfried Zahibo in the box to put the Revs up, 1-0. Chicago battled back in the 41st minute off a set piece that lead to a questionable goal from Francisco Calvo, who looked offside, but beat keeper Matt Turner with header near the left post. The 2-1 win was enough to keep the Revs above the red line and in sixth place, and created some much-needed space between chasing Orlando SC, but it felt almost as if the Boys in Blue may have stolen three points at home. We talk about it with Julian Cardillo, of Pro Soccer USA. The Huot 8k predicts an uphill ride for the Revs from here on out and it continues this weekend when New England hosts Toronto FC, who remain just one point behind them on the Eastern Conference Table. We welcome back Tej Sa
