Boumentum
19/07/2019 Duración: 01h01minGustavo’s Bou’s first appearance in a New England Revolution uniform could not have gone much better. Punishing rain and threats of nearby lighting left many wondering if the game would get off at all, but once it did, New England dominated — putting up 17 shots on goal in the first half while limiting the struggling Whitecaps to none. Bou opened his MLS account in the dying seconds of the first half when Carles Gil found him just outside the box -- Bou launched a shot with his right foot that tore past Vancouver keeper Maxime Crépeau. Vancouver started strong in the second half and nearly even things up, but Theo Bair’s shot hit the left post in the 51st minute and bounced forward into Matt Turner’s arms. The Revs put the issue to rest in the 82nd minute when substitute Diego Fagundez headed home a Cristian Penilla cross that found the back of the net and Doubled New England’s lead. It was Fagundez’ first goal of the 2019 campaign. But the Revs weren’t done with offense. Penilla and red hot Teal Bunbury eac

The One That Got Away
17/07/2019 Duración: 01h21minThe Revs went up two goals against DC United at Audi Field on Friday, but had to settle for a 2-2 draw after giving up an equalizing goal in the 86th minute. In the 4th minute, Teal Bunbury picked up his fourth goal in five league matches to remain hot. Carles Gil doubled the Revs lead in the 32nd minute, he now leads the club with five goals on the season. The Revolution played the final 27 minutes down a man after Wilfried Zahibo was ejected on a second yellow card The road result extends New England’s unbeaten streak to eight games and leaves the Revs just two points outside the final playoff spot. We break it down with Julian Cardillo, from Pro Soccer USA. New England plays its first of two games this week on Wednesday, against a struggling Vancouver side, currently sitting at the bottom of the MLS Western Conference table. Ray, Jon and Eric Spence welcome back Mark Dailey, from the Back Line Podcast, and see if the Revs can capitalize the Whitecaps woes. And, finally, the Huot 8000 rides again! Jon wa

Holding Pattern
22/05/2019 Duración: 01h05minWin at home, tie away is the often-touted formula for success in this league. Relieved of Duty
10/05/2019 Duración: 58minAfter 18 tumultuous and often frustrating months, the Brad Friedel era has officially come to an end in Foxborough. What’s next? The Revs were again blown out on the road Wednesday, dropping a 5-0 decision to the Chicago Fire, which paved the road for Friedel’s Thursday dismissal. Current New England assistant Mike Lapper now takes the helm as interim head coach as the Revs prepare to host the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. We preview that match with Steve Uhalde, of the ‘74 til Infinity podcast. Then Ray and Jon welcome back Julian Cardillo, of ProSoccerUSA, and Sean Sweeney, or the Boston Sports Journal, to discuss how Brad Friedel lost his way and where the Revs go from here. Blue Hell Meltdown
30/04/2019 Duración: 01h06minThe Revs squandered two goal leads — twice — on the road at Kansas City Saturday and managed a draw in a game in which they finished with only nine players. Juan Fernando Caicedo earned a brace with two first half goals — his first in MLS — and Juan Agudelo found the back of the net for the first time since last August in the 42’. Rookie DeJuan Jones opened his professional account in the 69th minute, but the Revs still surrounded four goals of their own, two of which came off former New England attacker Krisztián Németh. With Alex Almeida away on assignment, Eric Spence joins Ray and Jon this week, along with Jonathan Sigal, from MLSsoccer.com and the New England Sports Journal. Then Mike Servidio, Co-Host of the KYW Radio’s Philly Soccer Show, is here to preview the Revs’ visit to the land of Chester.
