Was the Euro 2020 group stage boring because too many teams could go through? Should England fear anyone? Do UEFA have a double standard when it comes to politics & football? In this episode of the Straight Shootin' View, SSLJA discusses the general lack of entertainment provided by the group stages of the European championships and whether this has anything to do with so many teams being able to progress. The European Super League plans collapsed in spectacular fashion with all 6 Premier League sides pulling out, but is it merely delaying the inevitable? In this episode Straight Shootin' LJA discusses the recent collapse of the proposed midweek European Super League and looks at whether or not fans were the main reason behind the Premier League clubs pulling out, or sponsor pressure made the owners u-turn?
