The first sequel in the series, Monster Blood II picks up shortly after the first, and our hero Evan is anything but a hero to the kids in his new town. No one believes his story, the adults in charge hate him, he's in charge of cleaning up hamster turds, and he has a new nemesis named Conan. The change in Evan's life, the return of a few old friends, and witch induced PTSD are all covered in this week's episode. Also, I thrown in a Robin Williams reference and some info on the latest GooseDown merch!

Cam and Peanut recap their weeks, and Cam goes a step further by using a meeting at an event at his Alma Mater to talk about the biggest lies the guys have experienced, and how one helped provide guidance for a kid in need. This week's story goes from downer to WAY DOWNER is... silver lining. Taking heavy inspiration from 'The Fly', we learn about Gary Lutz (aka "Lutz the Klutz") and his struggles fitting in, from sports, to girls, to bullies, and how his desire for another life leads to absolutely fright. WHAT FUN! Seriously, in a horror/sci-fi/fantasy series, RL Stine takes a bit of a chance to get off some pretty good comedy. Think National Lampoon's Vacation meets Killer Clowns from Outer Space in this story about a family taking a wrong turn to the wrong place for all the right scares and jumps! There are really great descriptions of "costumes", rides, attractions... and a damn Nick arcade game! I talk about traveling cross country as a kid, exactly who asks to speak to the manager, and actual factual genocide. AND FREE PARK TICKETS!

We follow 4 terrible children as they do their best to embarrass an obnoxious kid in their class for no other reason than her confidence upsets them. WAY in the background of the story is a better one about the rich literally killing the poor (with the poor never getting their revenge). The progression is solid, but sets up for a half cocked ending. All this, and how 'My Girl' gave a generation of kids PTSD.
