  • Thundergong! 2020 with Billy Brimblecom, Jr.

    On this week's episode of the Eight One Sixty, it’s all about Thundergong 2020! This is the 4th annual event and it is a massive fundraiser for a great KC-based charity called Steps Of Faith Foundation. We’ll be joined via Zoom by Billy Brimblecom, Jr., the executive director of Steps of Faith and along with Jason Sudeikis, a co-founder of Thundergong. The charity works with people who are uninsured or underinsured to help them get prosthetics and they work with people to get back to living a more full life. Since 2017, Thundergong has raised nearly $850,000 for Steps of Faith, helping provide prosthetics to more than 400 individuals. Each year the event hosts an A-List roster of guests, musicians and comedians, but this year they have knocked it out of the park — they even landed a 007! Thundergong is happening this Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. streaming for FREE at Thundergong.org! There are also amazing raffles, great merch, and so many surprises.
