Nat and Stu team up for their first ever collab podcast, with Dan & Greg from Smart Enough to Know Better - a podcast of science, comedy and ignorance. Raven On S6 Recap
11/07/2017 Duración: 01h50minWell folks, this is a long one. Natalie is the middle of a impending-Season-Seven-induced mania, and her obsessions with Jon Snow are starting to take disturbing turns. OK, more disturbing turns. The result is a lot of chatter. A note on times with this one - Nat and Stu spend the first 15 minutes or so chatting about Natalie's recent victory at a GoT trivia night, then there's a few minutes about the aforementioned disturbing elements, before a lengthy diversion into James Bond territory. If you want to skip straight to GoT S6 recap goodness, skip forward to the 35 minute mark. There's SO much to talk about: Dany and her burning escape from Vaes Dothrak and her dragon attack on the Masters at Meereen; Jon Snow coming back to life; Jon Snow reunited with Sansa; the Battle of the Bastards; Jon Snow as King in the North; the flashback that proved R+L = Jon Snow. There's more than Jon Snow, of course, but... yeah. Also Natalie apologises for saying "Toto by Africa" instead of "Africa by Toto". It was due to

Raven On S5 Recap
04/07/2017 Duración: 01h12minWith S7 now just two weeks away, Natalie and Stu are into the home stretch of season recaps. This week it's Season 5, famous for a little thing called THE FOUL AND UNJUST MURDER OF JON SNOW. Oh yeah... um... spoilers? Join our intrepid Westerosi correspondents and catch up on all the hard-hitting highs and home truths of Hardhome, more best made plans gang agley for Cersei, the Dorne Bros and their pointless (?) storyline, Arya in Braavos, Tyrion and Jorah trying to cosy up to Dany, the return of Drogon - plus a fairly serious chat about THAT Sansa/Ramsay sequence. Along the way there's talk of trivia competitions, Australian cliches, and something called "Thrones and the City"?

Raven On S4 Recap
27/06/2017 Duración: 01h18minIt's a shocking display from Natalie this week as she completely fails to remember most of the important events/plot points of Season 4. Lucky Stu is here, as usual, to set things right. Oberyn Martell and the Viper/Hound showdown, the Purple Wedding, Tyrion on trial and the deaths of Shae and Tywin, Littlefinger and Sansa head to the Eyrie, Arya and the Hound buddy-adventure through the Riverlands and Vale, Jon Snow & the Night's Watch take on the Wildlings in the ferocious Battle of Castle Black, and f***ing Ollie enters our lives, only to end Ygritte's. It's a corker of a season, so that explains why this podcast is slightly longer than planned. So much banter!

Raven On S3 Recap
20/06/2017 Duración: 01h06minClearly nothing much happened in Season 3 of "Game of Thrones", so why Nat & Stu are even bothering..... except of course THE RED WEDDING and JAIME'S HAND and JON AND YGRITTE AND THE CAVE and EVERYTHING ELSE. There's so many storylines and our intrepid Thronecasters fail to cover them all in the depth they deserve, but by crikey they give it a shot. A special big THANK YOU to everyone who's subscribed to Patreon in advance of the upcoming S7. Your $1 per recap payment goes towards things like our Soundcloud subscription, equipment, and much more. It is appreciated. It is KNOWN. If you want to sign up, head to www.patreon.com/girlclumsy

Raven On S2 Recap
13/06/2017 Duración: 01h02minJoin Nat & Stu as they kick off a discussion about Season 2, sometimes forgotten, but always awesome. There's talk of Jaqen H'ghar and Arya's deathly deal, Jon Snow's adventures north of The Wall, the Battle of Blackwater Bay, Melisandre's shadow baby, Robb Stark's seemingly so positive war record, Dany's dreary-ish story arc, and for some reason, a deep dive into what Qarth must be like these days. Thanks to all of you who subscribe to the Patreon account for the Raven On recaps. The recaps will be published free, but your support helps makes them - and bonus content like these podcasts - happen. You can find out more about the Patreon and why you should consider paying just $1 per episode over at www.patreon.com/girlclumsy. Love your work, kittens!

Raven On - PATcast
19/04/2017 Duración: 31minA special treat* for all Beloved Throners today! I've been staying with my Gran, the esteemed Queen Pat, in Port Vila for the past few days. During a storm yesterday, I was able to sit her down and watch the first two episodes of Game of Thrones with her - she'd never seen it! Afterwards I recorded a special PATcast with her about her thoughts on our crazy show. Please keep in mind it was quite late and Gran was a bit tired, so it's mostly me rambling at her and trying to get her thoughts. But it's reasonably entertaining. Valar Morghulis! *I don't know if it's a treat. It IS a lot of me rambling, so take it as you find it.

S6E10: The Winds of Winter
29/06/2016 Duración: 01h27minAn EPIC podcast to cover an EPIC season finale. This one clocks in at nearly 90 minutes, so grab a drink and settle in for talk central as Nat & Stu forensically comb through both the wreckage of the Sept of Baelor and "The Winds of Winter" as a whole. There's a few detours along the way, of course, including some serious revelations about Natalie's rebellious teenage years. That's right - she once passed a note in class. How subversive. Thank you all once again for tuning in every week to our talkfest, and a special shout out to everyone who's left brilliant reviews on our iTunes page. If you were a Game of Thrones character, you'd be Lyanna Mormont. That's how GOOD you are.

S6E10 Preview
26/06/2016 Duración: 07minThe moment is almost upon us! The final episode of Game of Thrones Season 6. Join Nat and Stu for this (out of character) short preview podcast ahead of the final showdown for this season. It's fast, it's fiery, it's something else starting with an "f".

S6E9: Battle of the Bastards
22/06/2016 Duración: 01h23minNow THAT was an episode! Join Nat & Stu as they "unpack" (Stu's new favourite word)this epic Episode 9. All the drama, humour and dragon fire of Meereen, then all the bloody and visceral action of the Battle for Winterfell. We say goodbye to some beloved characters, and a "Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out" to some others. Guess which ones. Go on, guess. We also take a slight meander down a World of Warcraft path, for those of you who think fantasy and video gaming is nothing without resource management.

S6E8: No One (Live)
19/06/2016 Duración: 01h07minWelcome to our first ever live podcast! Having reached a significant goal on Patreon, Natalie & Stuart donned shonky AF costumes and recorded this podcast via Facebook Live. That's why you'll hear them stopping to read comments, but won't actually hear a live studio audience. It's just Nat & Stu laughing at each other's jokes again. This episode sees Arya get her groove back, Brienne and Jaime reunite in a frission of excitement, the overrun of Riverrun, and Cersei getting boned in the Red Keep (but not in the usual manner).

Raven On Extra: John Snow Rap
19/06/2016 Duración: 05minNatalie is still editing the Live S6E8 podcast to make it suitable for uploading. It turns out trying to speak into a camera and a microphone at the same time makes for a real pain-in-the-ass situation when it comes to editing. In the meantime, please enjoy this random rap about the 19th century London physician John Snow. Yes, that's right. John Snow. With MASSIVE apologies to Lin-Manuel Miranda and "Hamilton".
-
S6E7: The Broken Man
10/06/2016 Duración: 01h10minWoof, woof! Join Natalie and Stu as they discuss the return of the Big Dawg himself - alongside veteran awesome guy Ian McShane. There's rejoicing in the kickass babeness of Lady Olenna and Lady Mormont, a Magical Mystery tour of the North, Margaery being told to lie back and think of Highgarden, and Jaime and Bronn in a stew at the siege of Riverrun. Also at some point Nat & Stu diverge into chatter about the superiority of 80s/90s cartoons, and how the kids these days will never understand. There's also more crackpot Azor Ahai theorising from Smart Enough to Know Better's own Greg Wah.
-
S6E6: Blood of My Blood
03/06/2016 Duración: 01h03minIt's the soft and smooth sounds of easy listening in this week's podcast as Natalie and Stu delve deep into this breather episode of Game of Thrones. Arya gets her Needle back, Gilly gets a makeover, Sam gets assertive and Dany gets a monologue. Also there's no Jon Snow so Nat & Stu have a chat about Kit Harington's recent comments about being the victim of sexism.
-
S6E5: The Door
25/05/2016 Duración: 01h08minThis is why we can't have nice things. After such a fun, happy episode last week, Stu's prediction that it would all come crashing down was proven right with the tragic death of.... well, you probably know by now, but just in case, we won't spoil here. Join Stu and Natalie as they comb through "The Door" looking for any scraps of hope. There's also talk of the Ironborn's game show style method of choosing a monarch; Jorah and Dany have a Moment; and there's some fantastic live theatre on display. Also - sound the wang alarm! Don't forget you can support the Raven On recaps via www.patreon.com/girlclumsy

Enjoy this hour long gabfest before everything goes to hell in a handbasket next week. Because you just know it will. We're not allowed to be happy for long...

There's the reappearance of Rickon, the shirty Small Council, Varys and Qyburn's competing little birds, and a mega epic flashback sequence to the Tower of Joy. S6E2: Home
06/05/2016 Duración: 59minPraise the Old Gods and the New - he's back! Yes, Stuart is here again, joining Natalie for another Game of Thrones Raven On podcast. Oh yeah, and Jon Snow came back from the dead. Join these two tragics as they lovingly caress the stabbed body of Jon Snow to really penetrate the hows and whys of his comeback. There's also delight at Stampy the Giant and the Zombie Mountain's comedy smackdowns, joy at the return of Hodor, Bran and potential flashbacks, and some kitten interference.
