Mixed Doubles makes its debut at the upcoming Winter Olympics next month in Pyeongchang, South Korea and Team USA’s Matt and Becca Hamilton join us this week. They dish on their recent appearance with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show,” their heavy workload competing in both mixed doubles and with their respective teams and also their prefered social media hashtag for next month.Also Price Atkinson had a fun sit-down interview with NBC Sports reporter/anchor Trenni Kusnierek who’s in her second tour of duty covering curling at the Winter Olympics. Trenni’s been with USA Curling all fall/winter and talks about on how she’s grown closer to the sport and players plus storylines she’ll be covering in South Korea.

Matt and Becca Hamilton won the U.S. Olympic Trials for Mixed Doubles Curling this afternoon at Fogerty Arena in Blaine and will represent Team USA at the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. The Hamiltons defeated John Shuster and Cory Christensen 6-5 and will compete in the first ever mixed doubles competition at the Olympic Games in addition their duties playing with Team Shuster and Team Roth. Hear interviews from both teams plus the Hamilton’s father Scott and Matt’s wife Jennie after punching their ticket to the Olympics…again!

The four-team playoff field at the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Mixed Doubles Curling are now set, as TESN’s Price Atkinson and Sean Murray recap what the four teams did to advance and how they matched up in round robin play. Hear interviews with top-seed Cory Christensen & John Shuster plus two-seeded Becca & Matt Hamilton, who’ll play each other tonight.
