To The Heart Of The Matter

There seems to be a lot of people of color ( I hate that term) that are now asking questions about the Democrat party and liberalism in general now. They are all over all of the social media platforms. They are making videos and getting 1000's of subscribers. They are all taking their turn being the "toast of the town." I am not envious, I am just tired. There have been some of us on the front lines for a number of years and have to wonder aloud what took so long, what changed, and why now? 

Every day we find out that access to and through social media is becoming more and more difficult. All of the major social media outlets are openly hositle to conservatives and conservative views. FaceBook, Twitter, and YouTube have banned, shadow banned, throttled, and demonetized numerous conservative enities in the past 10 years. So it seems that the only way forward at least in the meantime is to take a step back. Technoloicaly speaking.We may have to get back a more direct communication method, email and websites. 

A great deal has been said and written about the sales tax increase here in Hillsborough County since it was passed in Novemeber of 2018. Hillsborough County Commissioner Stacy White actually filed a lawsuit to challenge the legality of this measure. This of course created a malstrom in local media and government. Today I sat with commisioner White to let him tall his side of the story as it concerns the measure and his lawsuit.

Here we go y'all it seems like the furor never dies down. We are in a constant and never ending election season. I wish it wasn't the case but this is the life we live. Today I want to talk about a phrase I always hear and have always worried about.

Well the report is out and the left and their media reacted pretty like we thought they would." This is NOT ENOUGH! We Need More! AHHHH!!!!!!Well kids I told you before if you don't stop that crying Trump is going to give you something to cry about!

You have to kidding? almost the entire first term of Trump the left has been talking about things that either not happening or not going to happen. They spent almost 3 years talking about collusion that did not happen and today AOC is still bringing up impeachment, which is not going to happen. AOC being primaried is much more likely to happen.

After presenting at a local meetup of creatives I started getting the feeling that there was a resurrection of the gatekeeper through SEO and attached business, combined with so-called best practices that were rebuilding the "wall" that some of us have spent the past 10 years tearing down. Today I want to encourage you to tell the story you have YOUR way. To hell with best practices and SEO Analytics. Do not let either of those things change how and more importantly why, you tell your story.

The left is really missing the point. They can not see what the reality of their present is and how it figures into their future. the more they whine about Trump, the more Trump they are going to get. Kinda like, " Stop crying before I give you something to cry about! "

In 1960 I think the conversation to had was pretty easy, avoid White folks if you could. I don't think that it is that easy in 2019. Improvement in race relations and the nuisance of life make the conversation more difficult. The conversation must start off with talking about the nature of people. One of the hottest topics on the political hot plate is Campaign Finance Reform. Which ever side is getting the asses beat wants to slow down the flow of funds to the other side. Political parties have found that this class warfare is easy to sell to the electorate. Most of you are sold a bad guy and that person becomes the picture of evil as it refers to out of control campaign spending. We must look deeper into this topic to see if we or our neighbors might become the collateral damage of this high-stakes game.

President Trump may have over-estimated his deal-making talents when it comes to political ideologues. In most business deals both sides understand that they will not get everything they want from the outset. In the political game when dealing with the virulent left, full victory is the only thing, with the destruction of your enemy. Trump may not have taken this into consideration when he stepped into the Oval Office. Because on 2 very large pieces of his over-arching agenda he has failed. The bad timing of funds for the Border Wall was terrible for sure but the amaturish failure on repeal of Obamacare is almost too much to take. 

It wasn't as much what box Chicago voters checked off but the number of boxes that Lori Lightfoot checked off with Chicago voters. Female - Check, Black - Check, Democrat - Check, Lesbian - Check! Lori Lightfoot is the crossroad of the oppressed and now she is the Mayor of the nation's 3rd largest city.

This is yet another miscalculation made by President Trump. He waited too long to get Obamacare repealed. Under the best conditions, it was going to be tough to get enough Republicans to go along with him and now, It will be impossible. It isn't that the American public like the ACA more than they did before they just hate change more than anything. So talk of replacing is causing them to avoid the pain of change. 

It has taken 50 plus years but students are calling for segregation again on college campuses. Jim Crow was dead and now is being revived by White Progressives.

I agree that the DOE should not be funding the Special Olympics. But I also think that it is perfectly alright for the DOE to fund 18 million dollars of the Special Olympics budget. Special Olympics are amazing! The athletes, parent, volunteers, and organizers are awesome! I love it!Special Olympics have nothing to do with education or the mission of the DOE.So, Betsy Devos was correct and so was Trump. 

So much talk about the electoal college and how it is outdated. As you will see in the podcast the electoal college is more neeed than ever as a way to represent the diverse nature of the country. So many diverse concerns from coast to coast require a system that allows all of its citizens be heard in the most important elections not just those that live in major cities. There have only been 5 times when the EC was different than the popular vote, not eactly perfect but beinfg representative over democratic is how is was designed. We must resist the tyranny of the majority and mob rule.

I am just telling you it doesn't matter that particulars in the Mueller report. The Trump base is taking a victory lap and they are waiting to take another one in Novmeber of 2020. The Trump supporter doesn't care that Trump is not perfect. The Trump supporter doesn't care about Trump University.The Trump supporter doesn't care about the bankrupcies.The Trump supporter doesn't care about Stormy Daniels.The Trump supporter doesn't care about claims of racism.So any of the other pending investigations are a waste of time. The Trump supporter is comfortable with Trump. They are ok with all his faults, past and pettiness. The Trump supporter kinda like petty Trump from time to time. 

The Mueller Report is out and President Trump is still your president. The report after $30 million dollars has not uncovered any collusion between the Trump Campaign and any Russian government official. Trumpsters are walking around like Muarry has just said: " You are NOT the father!" The left is like the girl that cries and runs off stage, screaming no!!!The coming week is going to be an interesting one watching the media re-group. Because they are never going to make the switch to really find out the information that kept this "nothing-burger" go for nearly 3 years and spend $30 million taxpayer dollars. Tonight we are going to through the Justice Department Summary
