Jesus Christ was humble, willing to give up his rights in order to obey God and serve people. Like Christ, we should have a servant's attitude, serving out of love for God and for others, not out of guilt or fear. Remember, you can choose your attitude. Genesis 4:1-13 A Closing Throught The focus of this lession is the undeserved mercy of God as illustrated in the life of Cain. Why He chose tp spare Cain, a condemned murderer, is not revealed in the text. Instead, God's warning and judgment show Him to be the God of mercy and grace. He has given His Word, warning us to avoid sin and keeep if from controling our lives. Ultimately, God gave His Son to bear the penalty for human sin and to provide the way to reconciliation and spiritual fruitfullness through faith. Jesus Teaches about Worry on Sermon on the Mount Because of the ill effects of worry, Jesus tells us not to worry about those needs that God promises to supply.  Worry may: 1. damage your health 2. The Devil is the accuser. He will condemn you and bring up past mistakes and sin. He is quick to remind you of where you missed it. But their is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. There's a whole bunch of promises in Deuteronomy 28. The promies are based on obedience to the law of God. As New Covenant belivers, the promise of Deuteronomy 28 are available to you and me because of Jesus' obedience to the law. Because He filfilled the law completely, We have access to every promises of Deuteronomy 28 and am free of every curse.  Your children are blessed, your career is blessed, your household are blessed, and wherever you go is blessed. Scripture: You will experience all these blessing if you obey the Lord your God: Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed.
