  • Check in Q&A #43

    08/02/2022 Duración: 39min

Some belting questions this week from the bunch of absolute legends in the academy ...  Aside from client education, what more can I do to support clients outside of sessions to improve my service and it’s value? Top 3 Monthly Goal Review questions! United or City? can never think of a question How many hours per week of coaching (in the gym) should I aim for? "As you know I’m mainly working on developing my online coaching. Do you have any advice on how I can reach a wider audience?  Evening though I have online clients and I’m getting great feedback and referral’s, my clients are all still local people to my area. I feel like one of the reason why they sign up with me is because I’m the local guy from the gym who know his stuff. The only thing I can think to of is paid ads.  I’m not complaining, I’m just curious and it would be nice to get myself know out of North Lincolnshire

  • Weekly Check in Q&A #42

    01/02/2022 Duración: 19min

Short one this week guys!  How long and how frequently should I send out nurture emails to my competition leads? Going to continue during free trial of community group in Feb and wonder if I should continue with a weekly email How do I get clients to focus on their goals with loved ones getting in the way . One example would be... husband thinking wife is doing too much (10k steps per day and isnt allowing her to get out and do daily tasks she has set for herself)  A gym member approached me after my class and asked if she could book ONE session with me so I can teach her how to use the machines and weights. What would your approach be for this? How many times would email someone on email list a week? How do you prioritise your tasks  FYI - Doors close to the PT Business Transformation program this Saturday, so if you have been waiting until closer to the time ... not long left!  Find out more / confirm your space by clicking here!

How to deal with leads when you're full for 1:1 and they want face to face? Some great questions this week from the community;  Next PT BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION is LIVE now to book your space If you were to create a community group to encourage and educate women (30-45) to get into the gym, what would be the most important bits of support for you to provide to give the most value without spending too much time on it per week? What 5things are important to share on social media outside marketing services ? If I think my target market/audience is changing what do you think my first steps should be. I want to attract more female muscle building than fat loss. Should I ease into it with social media posts? Morning Lead Gen activity quirky idea please! How would you review the quality of your service? As mentors, What are some of the main things you come across that PTs lack the most?  A client said they would come back to train with me in Jan, I messaged once but haven't heard back. How much should I follow up until I give up? whats the best soft wear for schdueli

  • LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #36

    07/12/2021 Duración: 36min

Question covered this week;  What do you do when clients are not losing weight but fully tracking, weighing foods (so they say) gym 4 times a week, steps not so great. Feel like I’m getting to my wits ends with one of them but I want them to succeed  How can I best market on a gym floor that isn’t typically very busy? Hard to predict busy times for me to just come in and chat to people so wondering if there is something else I can do  I actually have a couple - 1. I don’t have an iPad or anything, but I would like to actually fill out the form with people in the gym however I have this weird thing where I don’t go on my phone if I’m on the gym floor, any suggestions on getting around this would be great! 2. How would you go about setting up the workshops such as technique correction etc, would you have a station set up or go and ask people if they want a quick 20 minutes to learn a new exercise/ check on technique? First could I request a zoom class with you guys to talk about 2022 ideas

  • LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #35

    30/11/2021 Duración: 36min

Questions covered this week;  Any advice for how to approach business over my 11 days off over Christmas? When working for a gym, how do cope with consistent changing of their time when your business is set and clients are set? I am struggling to come up with open ended questions to ask on social media, any advice on how to do it? What sport of things would you be preparing / getting in place just now to prepare and make the most of the January boom - gym being busier, potentially more enquiries etc

  • LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #34

    24/11/2021 Duración: 23min

I have heard about a former PT in my gym stealing clients if PT’s and they weren’t happy about it, I wouldn’t do it intentionally but if I’m focused on speaking to and helping as many people as I can, how would I deal with this when I don’t focus on who’s clients is who’s? (I don’t want to be that type of pt) Movement assessment in the consultation or 1st session? i like to see how they move so i can advise them of how many sessions they should have with myself/alone following program. But its very time consuming  Tips for taking down notes during consults without breaking up the flow of conversation, I’m terrible at doing both at once

  • LIVE Q&A CHECK IN #33

    16/11/2021 Duración: 40min

Different type of question to usual - any tips on how to manage your time during a session? I’m finding with a few clients we end up chatting a lot (much better than my issue when starting of awkward silences

  • LIVE Q&A CHECK IN #32

    09/11/2021 Duración: 22min

Questions covered this week ....  Still struggling to get people to book on for monthly reviews, how can I get across the value of these? Are they necessary for every client? Should I start with my new prices of my service or an introductory offer? I only told 1 person the intro prices but I have a feeling due to that, they won’t value other parts of the service, I can explain prices have gone up, but due to already agreeing, that I will keep the price the same for the 3 months I'm changing my payment method to monthly direct debits in the new year. What would you do if a member wanted to sign up, but couldn't make 1 or 2 weeks due to a holiday and therefore didn't want to pay for a full month? I think a potential option could be to increase their session frequency before and after their holiday so they're not missing out. I know this is an option for 1-2-1 but would it work with group coaching too? In some cases I don't think I'd mind charging for half a month if it meant keeping them in my busine

  • LIVE Check in Q&A #31

    19/10/2021 Duración: 46min

Questions from the team this week; How to approach clients being unresponsive to emails for check-ins/not joining Facebook group/monthly reviews? Wasn’t included in price before so not sure how to firstly get them to value it, then actually fill them in. They all say they are very happy with service which makes me think I don’t need to change much and don’t want to keep badgering them  How you would structure and enquiry call, questions things like that etc. Do you need two seperate routes for 1:1 & online coaching - e.g. pre-consult, consult, onboarding Do you think it's possible to move fully online too soon?  How can you deal with potential clients / members in the gym believing BS advice from other PTs. Is it more talking to the team about their knowledge or giving education out to the members and hoping they believe you. I’ve start a daily email to my small list with hopes to row my list and engagement with my audience. Would you say it’s ok repeating what I also post on social m

  • Live check in Q&A #30

    12/10/2021 Duración: 36min

Question covered this week;  How would you market a 6 week nutrition/fat loss course? Aimed at 25 - 35 year old females, education based with a program for all to follow ( 1-2-1/ group coaching) 1. You talk a lot about your wants, needs, beliefs and values and how do you go about creating and relating these to your business. 2. If you were going into a new commercial gym (doing 12 hours rent also) what would be your first priority actions going in there to get you off to a good start. What are your thoughts on working with people for free before launching a new service? As I'm creating a new onboarding process I am considering taking on 2-3 online clients for free before launching the new service in the new year. I think this would allow me to get familiar with this process while sorting out any issues and making improvements to it before I launch the paid service, any thoughts or advice? Any advice for setting up a podcast? I have a client who hasn't been to any sessions in a few weeks. We h

  • LIVE Check in Q&A #29

    06/10/2021 Duración: 26min

In this week session we cover;  How to improve adherence for a long term client How to know when you're not doing enough or the client isn't giving you enough Im doing an online exercise library for my clients - what is the best way to upload it? Google drive/FB/ APP?. How would you collect emails at the gym? 1. Would you produce different content accross different social media plateforms? Or can you post the same things accross IG, facebook, LinkedIn? If different, what would be the differences? 2. Any advice on local marketing, as a gym located in the city centre I am thinking about going into the offices in the building and offering either seminars (wellbeing at work, lunch at work, quick stretch routine) and/or flyers with intro to PT at half price. If someone takes ages to sign up after consultation/ you have to chase them a bit.. should this be seen as a red flag? Should you onboard them? How would you go about pursuing the local area as a marketing medium? Flyers/business cards in l

  • LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #28

    28/09/2021 Duración: 51min

Questions from this weeks check ins;  Is lead gen in classes dead or would it be good to promote business. I was thinking of giving away a free recipe book next week to people who give me their email and then maybe the following week a free group training trail. Could I do more or is this a good starting point? Do you think males or females are a tougher target market to sell to and bring onboard? Best way to ask your clients what more support they want from you without feeling like shit if they through loads of ideas your way that you haven't been doing with them  How do you know if your target market is the right one for you? 1. Clients would rather pay monthly as they go instead of using GoCardless (i.e. direct debit).  So far I've just gone with what they prefer.  Is this going to cause issues further down the line? 2. When I do the weekly check in I feel like I might be bothering clients when they'd rather be left alone.  How do you find the balance between supporting clients outside of the gym, a
