PEG INTERVIEWS EDM DJ/PRODUCER BALLEW BIO American DJ, Kristina, "Ballew", also known as "BallewItUp", is that same half ass model, low key comedian, and music obsessed EDM DJ/producer that came out of nowhere summer 2020 on social media. She got her start as a DJ working for "A Party's Favorite Entertainment" as a local event DJ, taught by owner, Tyrone Chavers. In her free time she started mixing edm/trap/dubstep hybrid sets and started playing them for her friends. A year into DJing, she began playing around with loops and samples learning to produce her own music and find her own sound. She is now a student at Berklee College Of Music studying for her bachelor's in electronic music production and sound design in hopes to make a full time career as an artist/producer. It started as an hobby, but it turned fast into something serious. She decided to start putting videos of her djing on social media platforms like Youtube and Instagram. Soon a lot of people started noticing her and her following built up very fast and it’s still growing fast today. The ReTriX likes to mix different genres mixed with Tech-House en Techno beats. Umay treats her songwriting as a mix between storytelling and journaling. Phantom Electric Ghost INTERVIEW “THE VELVICKS”  The Velvicks, like many of the best rock and roll stories, can be traced back to a basement--but even further back to a kid in his bedroom with a guitar a bit further away in Brazil. Vick Nader (guitar, songwriter and vocals), certainly had ample artistic inspiration early in life. Music became a unifying language that connected his lives in 2 very different places. Vick’s family moved between Brazil and Miami during his childhood. Upon one of his return trips to Brazil his brother brought home an old nylon guitar which he started to play. By age 15, he was creating music that drew from both cultures, and decades of musical influence. He quickly found that music and guitar became both a therapy, and a social catalyst, connecting both of his cultures. Since very young he knew that he wanted to pursue music as more than a hobby. Emily Ashberry is an acoustic singer songwriter based in the UK. Influenced by English and Celtic folk songs and American country music, Emily often takes inspiration from traditional folk tales and ballads, rearranging and modernising them for a new audience. In April 2021 she released her first single, ‘Bright Phoebe’, her take on a traditional Canadian song. True to folk and country roots, she writes about love, loss, and community, and is currently working on a collection of songs for a potential EP. The Phantom Electric  Ghost Interview With Damen Samuel & Ebony Isaac   Damen Samuel is a singer/songwriter and performer of Nigerian and German heritage who is based in Melbourne. His style is a unique blend of Soul, Folk, Pop, and Jazz influences and his music often draws comparisons to artists such as Terry Callier, Antony and the Johnsons and Ben Harper. Damen is a modern-day storyteller who first started performing at live venues around NYC, where he lived before relocating to Australia. PEG Interview NY Born Musical Sensation Mia Koo BIO The New York-born musical sensation Mia Koo began her journey into the arts with the classical violin in 1996. From the age of six, she studied in chamber orchestras and programs for developing musicians around NYC reaching a level 6 certification in the NYSSMA Solo & Ensemble violin contests. Her national career took off early as she embarked on House of Blues tours from coast-to-coast with her first successful act, The Kung Fu Girls. The band collaborated with Tom Higgenson (Plain White T’s) to produce their debut album, “Thinking of You.” This was all before she ever finished high school.
