Thu May 8, 2025 - 8:45 PM Presenter(s): Gregg Marutzky This class will examine scripture and scholarship regarding participatory leadership in the Christian community to foster healthy, spiritual churches. The goal is to emulate the leadership of Jesus. Overcoming tensions, conflicts, and differences is vital for unified, spiritual Christian communities. Inclusive leadership fosters vulnerability, transparency, and communication to produce unity without uniformity. Churches with minimal drama maintain membership and attract new members. Biblical principles and proven practices can provide a model for emotional healthy churches. Research and cases studies will be referenced.

Rudy Hagood, Jennifer Konzen, Kevin Withem, Robert Carillo, and Caleb Koltenbach shared their thoughts on a variety of topics from baptism to gender identity and politics. The conversation was facilitated by Drew Baker and Steve Staten.

Attendees will learn how Christian nationalism is both unbiblical and undemocratic, and how they can help counter this ideology to better work for the inbreaking of God's kingdom today.
