With the purging of Marvel Shows from Netflix and all the announcements regarding cancellations first Iron Fist, then Luke Cage, now Daredevil. I originally thought this was to bolster up the line up for the new Disney + streaming service but I read a couple of articles that made so much sense. Marvel will stop licensing content Movies & TV Shows to NETFLIX by late 2019. Now for the movies what I have been saying makes complete sense they will eventually transfer over to Disney’s new streaming service but the original programing like Daredevil and the crew won’t necessarily be a direct transfer. NETFLIX actually produced these shows and the question is why would you pay to make a show that in essence advertises and competitors service. Remember Disney has a controlling share of HULU and owns ABC Networks so shows like Cloak and Dagger and Runaways are safe. The NETFLIX produced shows are a little bit trickier. ABC Renews Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. For a 7th Season, But A Key Character Could Be Leaving the Show - Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been renewed for a seventh season ahead of its sixth season premiere next summer. While 2018 has seen the demise of popular Marvel shows like Iron Fist and Luke Cage, the ABC show has retained a devoted fan following over the years. Both season 6 and 7 will have 13-episode orders, and will presumably be filmed back-to-back. Clark Gregg (agent Coulson) is conspicuously absent from the cast list, with many people speculating that season six will be Agent Coulson’s last. The end of season five saw the beloved agent finding out he was dying, and resolving to step down from the agency and retire in Tahiti. Fans of the show know that “Tahiti” is also code for the secret laboratory that brought Coulson back from the dead, so his future remains to be seen. Growing up we all have been touched in some way by songs, stories, and characters created by others. My childhood was filled with stories that can be called modern mythology stories of super powered teenagers from Queens. A family of superheroes saving the world, or the earths mightiest heroes. Really, I haven’t been watching many shows doing any reaction or reviews this week. I have been playing the hell out of Red Dead Redemption II. The best way for me to describe it is GTA for cowboys. Riding through the countryside on my horse, and hunting bears. AVENGERS 4 Has a 3-Hour Runtime - But That Could Change - The initial edit of Avengers 4 is three hours long. I am not a fan of long films but I am so excited and waiting for this I don’t know how I will last. Disney announces Streaming Service to begin late 2019 – With the announcement of new ongoing series that will debut on the new streaming network with the big guns from the MCU movies Disney doubled down also stating that there will be a Loki series, Winter Soldier & Falcon, and Scarlett Witch series and the Lucasfilm properties (Star Wars) and their upcoming additions from the Fox Entertainment purchase. Aquaman is completely finished and it’s first showing will be in Brazil. - the first public screening for the film has been scheduled

Basically, Cable is going away and eventually we are going to have to figure out the best way to manage and see the content we really want to see. I have almost the major content streamers, HULU, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Univision for my wife so if I add Disney and DC Universe I will probably have as much as my cable bill. Cutting the cord is looking real good right now I just wish I could get a faster internet speed for my home. So while everyone plays Red Dead Redemption II I think I will save my pennies for Fallout 76 and figure out what I will keep and what goes when it come to streaming entertainment before I go completely broke. I say this because last week YouTube tried to play me like a fiddle. Last weeks live stream was flagged as violating YouTube’s content Guidelines and they were going to ban me from doing live streams for 90 days. Why Should I subscribe to DC Universe Streaming? – Currently I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, On Demand through my Cable TV provider, and various other streaming or pay per view. Marvel/Disney is getting ready to create one and Warner Bros has DC Universe. At NYCC They announced the lineup of original content and that’s what I am really looking for. OK Sony I see what you have done and I am not mad at you. A few months ago, I saw the Venom trailer and like the rest of the internet I was outraged. No venom in the initial trailer, then the CGI looked rubbery, and it gave an R-rated vibe and ended up PG-13. I know I haven’t really talked sports at all this football season like I used to with the weekly picks and such. With the NFLs issues and just all the changes it doesn’t feel the same but I still feel love for my New York Giants as a longtime fan. Captain Marvel Trailer – I have to say I was impressed but many people weren’t. If you know comic books you should have been excited to get to this next cosmic phase of the Marvel Movies. I can say it was a little unnerving to see a digitally de-aged Sam Jackson and for some of you seeing her punch the Old Lady (real fans know it was a Skrull) was upsetting. People complained that Brie Larson doesn’t smile enough but I can say all the internet Photoshop deals putting smiles on her picture was super Creepy. This week I was planning on going to see the Predator in theaters but if you have been listening/watching to my podcast you know I had the whole issue with the washing machine, ceiling falling, spending an insane amount of money..etc..etc. So I had ordered the new washing machine from Home Depot made it in time to get the Labor Day Sale price and set up a delivery day. Mass shooting at video game tournament in Jacksonville leaves multiple dead – I used to participate in the Madden Challenge back in the day when it was sponsored by Best Buy. To see the breaking news that someone started shooting at their tournament this year is ridiculous. How much of a coward do you have to be to go to an event that is supposed to be fun competition and do such a thing? This week we said goodbye to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin without messing us the spelling as we all have done over the years RIP and put some R.E.S.P.E.C.T on it.
