I was really excited in hearing about a Mortal Kombat reboot/remake/new movie I have always enjoyed the game in its many iterations and Mortal Kombat is one of the most iconic fighting game franchises in history comparable only to Street Fighter. We made it to the end of the roller coaster ride known as Falcon and the Winter Soldier. While this series didn’t have everyone speculating as much as WandVision did it set the stage for an all new all different Marvel Cinematic Universe (didn’t they use that tagline in the comics?) What was good what was bad and what got left on the cliff we will talk about that now. Falcon and the Winter Soldier ended up being a pretty solid series overall and drastically different from WandaVision and I think that is what made it successful. Netflix is doubling down on their anime offerings and I was able to check out Pacific Rim: The Black. Pacific Rim was a movie I enjoyed way back in 2013 it had giant monsters (kaiju), giant robots and special effects that looked good on a big movie screen and on my home theater system. They followed up with Pacific Rim: Uprising, this sequel was dare I say it If you are looking for an Oscar winning performance by the actors in this story don’t this is the type of non-stop action and mindless fun you need to pass time on a weekend. For the past couple of years, we have been subject to so much internet rants and comments regarding the Snyder Cut. I admit at first, I denied its existence and, in some regards, I was correct, there was unused footage and unfinished storyboards and CGI but there was no full film until now. This YouTube stuff is pretty difficult don’t let anyone tell you it is easy. I have been going at it since 2014 officially and 2008 unofficially.
