This is a departure from my normal Sci-Fi reviewing comic book knowledge spewing information sessions but I had a chance to watch “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion Special”. Mandalorian Season 2 comes back with a vengeance with easter eggs and revealing more history of the Star Wars universe little by little. #Election2020 #VideoGames #Movies  Right now, everyone has a right to be in their feelings whether its sadness or joy.  The Presidential Election is essentially over and we can laugh, cry or joke about everything from the past or moving forward.  We are still in the midst of a global pandemic, we aren’t sure if the sitting President will concede the election and most of all our 2020 Bingo Card still has Alien Invasion, and Zombie outbreak still as open slots, although I think we do have the Zombie outbreak cut the B.S and I am not talking about Corona. Stories of the Greek Gods are in all sorts of media from movies to comic books and even many of our superheroes are based upon the various pantheons of these stories. Thanks to a recommendation from my friend Demond I was able to see Blood of Zeus. The Official synopsis says: A commoner living in ancient Greece, Heron discovers his true heritage as a son of Zeus, and his purpose: to save the world from a demonic army. I grew up in New York during the Late 80s and we had our share of stuff to worry about. The last thing was a Damn Vampire! So, on Netflix we have the Horror comedy in time for Halloween. People have always talked about the Marvel properties as being watered down and not taking the more edgy route when it comes to making their television and movie properties. I am not what you call a Trekkie but I love some science fiction and I have followed Star trek for a long time. I am a not a traditional viewer, I like the Original Series and all its flaws plus I like Deep Space 9 (Captain Sisko). Lower Decks is unlike any Star Trek series or movie. This is a show connected to and bending the limits of the Star Trek Universe. I was able to see The New Mutants a film that was supposed to be released a couple of years ago during the X-Men Fox Universe series of movies. It has been met with push backs, reshoots, and generally negative publicity ahead of its release. Fast forward to now it finally hits theaters during the COVID-19 pandemic and BOOM, I want to know who at Disney/Marvel wanted this to fail so badly. Being Iconic is not something you set out to do. You as an individual set out just to make a difference one small step at a time or you try to just give your best effort which is all anyone can ask for. A new take on the Superman mythos produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment. It is the thirty-ninth film in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. The film is the first of a new group of direct-to-video animated films, following the conclusion of the previous one in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. No Batman, No Teen Titans, all Deathstroke. In this new Warner Bros Animation (DC Animated Film) we get an updated origin story for Deathstroke the Terminator the heavily armed assassin that gained popularity from his position as a nemesis to the Teen Titans and Batman also since he was the template in which everyone’s favorite merc with a mouth was based on as a parody or at least that’s the way I look at it but since that Leifeld guy blocked me on Twitter (never knew I was on his radar) I guess I will never get the full story first hand. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/goingfullnerd/message

After 7 seasons the Marvel centric television show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finished its final season and for some it was good riddance for some it was a sad day. Netflix Originals are hit or miss. Can they be enjoyable? Sure.  Can they have big budgets? Sure. Can they have top rated stars? They sure do. So, this week we are going to talk about Project Power a 2020 American superhero film directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, produced by Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless, and written by Mattson Tomlin. It stars Jamie Foxx, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dominique Fishback, alongside Colson Baker, Rodrigo Santoro, Amy Landecker and Allen Maldonado, and follows a drug dealer, police officer, and former soldier who team up to stop the distribution of a pill that gives the user superpowers for five minutes.
