Jake and Will are two recent graduates who do not shut-up about movies. Having just moved apart, they hatched a plan to stay in touch by embarking on a quest to review a new film each week, for a year. This journey will be the ultimate test of friendship, sanity and the state of cinema! What could go wrong...

We both wonder at the eagerly anticipated final swan song of actor/director Robert Redford, talk about the film's resistance to the tropes associated with a romance movie, and compare Casey Affleck's work to that of his big brother Ben. But before all that, we have an array of fascinating news stories for you this week. We talk about the new Breaking Bad movie, the Shrek franchise reboot and a new Grant Morrison comic book tv series that is set to make 'Happy!' look positively normal.
