Hi there, I'm BookofMormonReader from YouTube. I've been reading the Book of Mormon publicly since September 2008 when I made a commitment to accept a challenge given by a Gordon B Hinckley in 2005 to read it before the end of that year. I started then but didn't finish and always wanted to, so I re-commmitted with a steel resolve to finish what I started. I chose to share the experience on YouTube so I could keep myself accountable and have experienced many challenges and blessings because of it. A promise by Joseph Smith regarding reading The Book of Mormon echoed in my mind when my own world was crumbling. It stated that a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book." I desperately wanted to be nearer to God so I decided to put it to the test. Since then, I HAVE grown closer to God so much so that I want to assist in flooding the earth with the Book of Mormon and its real life-giving message of hope and salvation. Without exception, I feel enriched every single time
