Around three million people are likely to consider leaving their jobs within the next year. Experts say heavy workloads, unrealistic deadlines, and blurred work-life boundaries are key drivers. Studies by Allianz Australia and Superfriend highlight that burnout remains high, particularly in healthcare, education, and retail sectors.

The Scanlon Foundation Research Institute’s 2025 Mapping Social Cohesion Report reveals that 83 per cent of Australians view multiculturalism positively. Even among those who believe migration levels are too high, most still acknowledge its benefits, seeing migrants as good citizens (85 per cent) and contributors to the economy (66 per cent). However, it also notes negativity towards Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, and Sikh communities.
