The people have yet again lost sight of God, even though they are building. Haggai comes to remind them that they need to keep God at the centre.

The people are focused on their own houses rather than building God's house. As Haggai rebukes them, they turn back to God and start building!

Church discipline is necessary for the sake of the sinner, the church, and for God's glory.

The church is destined for difficult times, and so the church needs good elders.

God is growing His people and His church and He uses different means to do this

God wants all people to hear the gospel and saves all people who receive the gospel

Christ’s victory guarantees our bodily resurrection and should inspire us to live for Him now

Paul tells us why we can trust that the resurrection is definitely definitely true!

For us to be made in God's image means we are made to rule, in relationship, with responsibility.

The Lord makes the perfect helper for man and we see the very first marriage.

Marriage is a picture of the gospel

God judges our sin. We now live in a cursed creation where life is difficult and we are outside of Eden. Only Jesus can restore us.

Jesus is the eternal Son of God who came to save us. We must believe in Him.

The big discovery of the reformation was that we are not saved by our works but by the grace of God alone!

The apostles are put in prison but not for long as God's message continues to go out.

Great Grace Produces Great Unity. Great grace produces Great Generosity. Great Grace provides Great power. Great grace produces great Fear

The church respond to persecution by praying for boldness

Opposition comes, yet the apostles keep speaking for Jesus, the only one who can save.

A lame beggar is completely healed by Jesus our amazing saviour. We must follow the sign and go to him!
