In the latest in the series for Dyslexia Scotland, we interviewed David Yeoman, who is a Language Behaviour Strategist consultant. In the podcast, David tell about his dyslexia and how it has affected them in both his life and career.

In the latest in a series of podcasts for Dyslexia Scotland, David Thomson speaks to Keith Macaldowie about his role in Learning Support at Port Glasgow High School in Port Glasgow in Inverclyde. Also, Keith discusses his own experience of having dyslexia.

CommonSpace reporter David Thomson covered this week's conference in Dundee FOLLOWING the Scottish Trades Union Congress' three-day conference in Dundee this week, we've put together a podcast interviewing some of the key voices at the event talking about prominent issues in Scotland. Scottish Labour MSP James Kelly spoke to the CommonSpace ahead of the final vote at Holyrood to decide as to whether the Football Act should be scrapped.  ON THURSDAY, the Scottish Parliament will hear the final stage of James Kelly’s private member's bill to repeal the Offensive behaviour at football matches.   If the bill passes, it will be the first time that a Scottish Government's legislation will be repeal since the Scottish Parliament has been created in 1999. CommonSpace Reporter David Thomson spoke to Scottish Labour's James Kelly at their party conference in Dundee.  At conference, Kelly had a fringe meeting to discuss his member's bill. The fringe meeting was a panel discussion that was chaired by the former leader of the Scottish Labour party, Johann Lamont.  There was a wide variety of speakers that include Jeanette Findlay from Fans against crimination, Daniel Johnson MSP, the Scottish Labour’s justices spokesperson, and Eireann McAuley. The CommonSpace's David Thomson has managed to interview Cabinet secretary for Social Secruity Angela Constance about the pilot in Aberdeen to give free sanitary products to those girls on low incomes.

CommonSpace reporter David Thomson interview’s the Scottish Conservative’s health spokesman, Miles Briggs about his involvement with ‘Frank’s law’ after the Scottish Government announced last month that they will bring in free personal care to those people who are under 65. The Scottish Government made the announcement as part of their programme for government after the opposition parties were united to bring in ‘Frank’s Law’ At the Scottish Conservative party conference in March, Briggs was going to bring in a members bill to implement ‘Frank’s Law’  Brigg will tell us about his involvement with ‘Frank's Law'

THE STUC Youth Committee held their annual conference in Clydebank last weekend (1st/2nd July) where there was a great discussion about better conditions for its young workers.  In his speech to the conference, Hepburn discusses who was on the agenda for the youth workers conference, but also he discussed fair work for young people.  CommonSpace reporter, David Thomson managed to speak to Hepburn where he managed to discuss what he discusses his speech. SNP deputy leader, Angus Robertson, gave an interview to the CommonSpace at the SNP conference in Aberdeen that came after the week when First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon announced that there would be another independence referendum between the autumn of 2018 and the spring of 2019. Areas discussed include Brexit, the second independence referendum and the forthcoming local council elections.

With the local government elections happening in Scotland in a matter of two months, the CommonSpace has managed to catch up with Scottish Labour's James Kelly to discuss his party stance for the election in May.
