Changing the Magnetic Polarity of Your Heart Human beings have a natural attraction to sin—much like magnets of opposite polarity. In order to overcome, we we must change our spiritual magnetic polarity! Have you ever played with magnets? Put the opposite poles of two magnets together and they attract. Put the like poles of two magnets together and they repulse. Put them close enough together with freedom to act independent of all other influences and they spin around and lock together. The same principle applies in our relationship with God. TWO LIKE POLES REPULSE ONE ANOTHER. SO DO TWO "HIGHER" INTELLIGENCES. If we approach God with the side of us that sees mankind as the most intelligent, creative force in our universe, we are immediately repulsed by God, because we are in essence seeing ourselves as God and cannot allow Him to get close without affecting our self image. Definisie van naatloos:  Ons praat van 'n roman se naatlose storielyn. Of naatlose, vry vloeiende optrede; 'n naatlose uitvoering. Glad, aaneenlopend, eenvormig in kwaliteit: 'n naatlose samevoeging van kuns en vermaak. Naatloos – volkome konsekwent en samehangend; "die roman se naatlose plot": samehangend, konsekwent, logies, georden – gekenmerk deur 'n ordelike, logiese en esteties konsekwente verband tussen dele; "'n samehangende argument." Wat estetika (skoonheidsleer) betref, lyk dit asof naatloosheid dui op skoonheid, eenvoud en verfyndheid. 'n Persoon wat 'n lewe in Christus lewe, leef 'n naatlose lewe (Joh. 15:1-15). Identiteitsdiefstal is nie net 'n fisiese probleem of elektroniese misdaad probleem nie, die 'n wesenlike geestelike krisis! Mense weet nie wie hulle bestem is om te wees nie. Mense maak en vorm hulle eie idee van wie hulle is, en mis sodoende hulle Godgegewe roeping en skeppingsdoel. Sonde is identiteitsdiefstal – jy is na God se beeld geskape. Gen 1:27 | Rom 8:29. Sonde: "Hamartia" – Verkeerde identiteit (Mike Wood) Mense verklap hulle identiteit onbewustelik op vele maniere, soos met bufferplakkers, nommerplate, profielopskrifte en beskrywings op sosiale media. Die manier waarop ons aantrek en ons hare stileer en die besluite wat ons daagliks neem is vooraf bepaal deur ons identiteit soos ons dit sien. Tatoes word gekies om identiteit uit te druk en 'n beeld te vorm: Wie is ek? Hoe sal jy jou identiteit beskryf? Wat glo jy oor jouself? As jy jouself met een woord moet identifiseer en beskryf, wat sal jy kies: soos met gepersonaliseerde nommerplate. 'convict'? 'gangsta'? 'wild1'? 'sexymom'? Bufferplakk

Mense is moeg vir kerk, waar die bestaan van kerk sentreer om mense gelukkig te hou binne die kerk. Mense soek 'n missie, 'n meer sinvolle rede vir bestaan. Sommige bedieninge wil nie sê hulle is 'n kerk nie, want die konnektasie herrinner hulle aan die organisasies en sisteme van 'n mens. Jy kan egter nie die Bybelse riglyne en bloudruk vir kerk gebruik en daarvolgens leef en handel as jy nie sê jy is kerk nie. Nie alle kerke wat hulleself kerk noem is waarlik kerk nie. Ons moet oppas dat die valse kerk nie die woord, en begrip van kerk van die ware kerk beroof nie. Deur die geloof sê ons, ons is kerk! Die kerk wat Jesus bou. Ons verantwoordelikheid is nie om kerke te bou nie, ons verantwoordelikheid is om die koninkryk te vestig hier op aarde soos wat die in die hemel is, dan sal Jesus selfs sy kerk bou. Mat 16:18 Dit is ons roeping: soos Jesus ons geleer het in sy apostoliese gebed. laat u koninkryk kom; laat u wil geskied, soos in die hemel net so ook op die aarde; (Mt 6:10). Hoe ons dink bepaal uiteindelik hoe ons reageer en leef. Christus het ons 'n nuwe weg kom leer, in die Woord sê Hy "Kom leer van want my juk is sag en my las is lig" ons wil leer hoe om soos Jesus te dink in elke area van ons lewe, sodat ons fokus en ingesteldheid Jesus kan bevestig waar ons beweeg. KINGDOM DYNAMICS 1 Cor 11:23 Faith At the Lord's Table, FAITH'S CONFESSION. Just as the act of water baptism outwardly declares or confesses an inward experience of salvation through the blood of the Lord Jesus, each observance of the Lord's Table is a powerful occasion for faith's confession. In the ordinance, the Christian confesses before all heaven that he not only has believed, but that he has not forgotten. "In remembrance" involves more than just memory; the word suggests an "active calling to mind" (Wycliffe). The word "for" introduces the reason the Supper is continually repeated. It is an acted sermon, for it "proclaims" the Lord's death. The outward act of faith, as the bread and cup taken, is explicitly said to be an ongoing, active confession—literally "you are proclaiming" (1 Cor 11:26). Each occasion of partaking is an opportunity to say, proclaim, or confess again: "I herewith lay hold of all the benefits of Jesus Christ's full redemption for my life—forgiveness, wholeness, strength, health, s

We often equate faithfulness with being steadfast, consistency, being dependable, reliable, dependable, loyal, true, trustworthy, devoted, truthful. Jesus equates faithfulness with something else – multiplication. Whatever God gives to us, He expects us to multiply and present it back to Him. John Bevere  The Parable of the 10 Virgins (Mat 25:1–13) does not reveal the meaning of "taking oil with you", and thus many sermons suggested oil, referring to the Holy Spirit.  But you cannot buy the Holy Spirit.  It is evident that the parable's focus is about being prepared for the coming of the Lord. Wanneer jy die inligting egter begin toepas, dan verander alles.  Self die wyse Salomo het verstaan dat die versamel van inligting en kennis 'n gejaag na wind is.  Eccl 1:15-18 15Daar is soveel dinge wat verkeerd is wat nie reggemaak kan word nie en daar is soveel dinge wat kortkom dat 'n mens nie alles kan tel nie. 16Ek het gedink ek het meer kennis as al die ander wat voor my oor Jerusalem geregeer het omdat my wye ervaring gelei het tot groter kennis en insig. 17Maar toe ek my daarop toelê om uit te vind wat die verskil tussen kennis en insig aan die een kant en dwaasheid en onverstandigheid aan die ander kant is, het ek tot die gevolgtrekking gekom dat so 'n ondersoek ook net so min beteken as om agte

Daar word gesê dat 'n mens tot 40 dae sonder kos, 7 dae sonder water, 4 minute sonder suurstof kan leef, maar nie een sekonde sonder hoop nie.  As ons hoop verloor, word ons soos robotte wat net take verrig dag in en dag uit, sonder ʼn toekoms.  Die realiteit is dat ons hoop die afgelope tyd onder aanslag is.  Die ekonomiese krisis, stygende kostes van elektrisiteit, brandstof en voedsel maak ons depressief, en laat ons met min hoop oor ʼn beter toekoms.  As 'n mens lank uitsien na iets en dit gebeur nie, maak dit jou moedeloos, maar as 'n mens se begeerte vervul word, gee dit jou nuwe moed. (Prov 13:12 LB) Verskeie kwessies in ons dorpe maak ons nog verder moedeloos en baie mense is besig om hoop te verloor.  Deur die lewe en mense se oortredinge teenoor ons, word ons verwond. Sonder hoop word die wond septies en trek allerhande bakteria, vlieë en siektes. Hoop is 'n geestelike teengif en buffer teen demoniese infestasie.  Ons is mense van hoop: handdoek ingooi is nie ʼn opsie

Nederigheid is 'n goddelike eienskap, want God self is die beste voorbeeld van nederigheid. Iemand wat God regtig ontmoet het en ken, kan nie anders as om nederig te wees nie.  Niemand kan voor God staan nie.  Arrogansie, trots, self-waan verdwyn soos mis voor die Son, wanneer ons voor Hom staan en Sy heerlikheid aanskou.  Daarom is gebed die eerste eienskap wat Daniel laat floreer het in Babilon, vanuit Sy intieme gebedslewe het nederigheid natuurlik gekom.    "Humility is having a true and sane estimation of yourself" "Pride/arrogance is on overestimation of self and an underestimation of others."  "Inferiority is an underestimation of self and an overestimation of others." Many believers are caught out when bad things happens to them. Ps 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. Note the emphasis in this verse: "Many are the afflictions" The righteous do suffer. Already in the first 4th page of the Bible, Cain killed Able.
