Over the past few weeks we’ve discussed the importance of being generous through gratefulness. In this message Pastor Caleb Moran talks about when you are thankful for what God has done for you – it opens up your heart to desire that He would do the same for someone else. This season, determine to show gratitude to those God has placed in your life. Spend intentional time offering praises to God for all He has done. And pray that God would bless others the same way He has blessed your life. True thanksgiving produces more for you to be thankful for.

In life, there are many sounds. God has created many things that we can hear, and listen to, each and every day. When we hear the Word of God, faith comes and opens our ears to the supernatural plan and provision of God. Can you hear it? Are you listening? The sound of faith is not only what you must hear, but also what you must be heard speaking.

God designed your voice specifically for your mountain. What many fail to see is that Jesus never told us to talk to God about our mountain or problem, rather, He told us to speak directly to the issue ourselves. As a Christian, you must do a sound check every day. You must test your voice to ensure that when you are ready to speak, all of heaven as well as hell is tuning into what you are declaring.

This year is the year of our LAUNCH! Throughout history, men and women from all walks of life, have pushed from the shadows and into the spotlight through hard work, determination, and audacious faith. They did not take no for an answer. They launched out into unchartered territory and attempted the unheard of. What they had to show for it was success and achievements that removed barriers and extended our reach as humanity. This is what we are doing this year as a church body, and as individuals. We are preparing for LAUNCH!

When we think about the word confession we have many scenarios that come to mind. Whether in a religious setting or a legal setting, a confession consists of someone telling the truth about something that has already happened. Today we are going to look at confession from the Bible’s view, and how it affects our lives.

Have you come to the point in your life where you’ve said, "God I’m done trying to be my provider" and say to Him, "I’m going to give you that place." Have you given God an opportunity to actually show you who He is or are you in the way of God blessing you? God is and will forever be our provider, but will you let Him be your provider? Will you let Him be your source? If you will then I believe some amazing things will happen to you in your life when you get out of the way.

If we can be to somebody, what we want somebody to be to us, there is no adversity too big when brothers get together. Friends come and go but brothers don't. Pride comes between friends, brothers will listen to correction. When you really have a brother, what you have is somebody that the bible says was born for you.

Jesus was a man with a mission to build community amongst people. As today’s church grows, more and more people find that it's difficult to build relationships and get to know people in the congregation. This is why community is a major focus here at Metro Life Church. If you do not live life with those you worship with, you are not experiencing true community, rather, you simply can say that you frequent the events of an organization. Once the church becomes a family, it is then that God can begin to work through His Body.

Often times we speak our minds rather than our truth. Believe it or not, what you say in the heat of the moment reflects what you believe at that moment. In this message Pastor Caleb is teaching us as Christians we are to speak what we believe. And what we are to believe is the Word of God. Once we believe the Word, the Bible tells us to start speaking it. So, it’s not how much Word you know that benefits you, it’s how much Word you speak. Everyone needs an attitude adjustment from time to time. With just one small tweak, your faith will activate and rise higher than before, enabling you to reach your destination.

The name “Abba Father” is one of the most significant names of God in understanding how He relates to His people. As we come to the end our Brave series, fatherhood is an extremely relevant topic to discuss. Being a father is a privilege and an honor bestowed upon one’s life for a higher calling and purpose, and requires one to be strong, consistent, and sacrificial, just as our "Abba" Father has been towards us.

In this series we are learning how we can face anything in life with courage, strength, and God-given ability. No matter what you are facing, focused faith will always cause you to overcome. When it comes to fear vs. faith, whatever you feed will grow. As Pastor Caleb has said throughout this series, on the inside of every believer roars a brave spirit that will help us conquer any opposition we may face.
