A talk about pride, and this "Pride of Life" that has infected mankind. It is the ultimate shroud of deception, leading us to believe we're not even deceived. It destroys you, and it destroys the very existence of mankind.

Are we really serving the One True God, or have we been deceived? It's so easy to have little things in life become idols that we end up worshiping, even if we don't realize it. 

Fear. Should we have it? Is it bad? Is it good? What is the "Fear of God?" This episode will look at various aspects of fear, and what fear outside of fearing God actually means.

What are some things that distract as Christians? And what is it that we are actually being distracted from? May we keep a sharp focus on our purpose as Christians!

A talk in the faithfulness of God. He is faithful--He doesn't change, He doesn't alter, He isn't facetious. He is trustworthy and reliable no matter what our situation looks like, and no matter what the world may tell us.

Have you ever let someone define someone else to you, and you took their word for it? Maybe time passed and you realized that what the person had said about this other person was completely wrong. That also happens when someone else tries to define God for us. Should we always take their word for it, or should we let God Himself define Who He is? We should take God at His own Word, and not let someone truly define God or Christianity for us--especially when we can clearly see their lifestyle is contradictory to the nature of God. Christians can and definitely should point us to God, but ultimately it is God Himself Who reveals Who He is.

Expounding on the term "rebellion against God" that Jake often uses in this podcast. Here we dig deeper into rebellion, being a captive to lies, and ending up with a disbelief, and even hatred, in God. It also briefly talks about the proper view of love and tolerance/intolerant.
