The Pirates called up Bubba Chandler earlier today, to be a reliever. Many people believe that this makes no sense. The guys think that the Pirates should have called him up when he was hot earlier in the season.

Ben Roethlisberger thinks that Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf could potentially be special. Poni points out that Ben wanted Mitch Trubisky to be the guy over both Rudolph and Pickett. Greg says he just now heard about Andrew McCutchen’s comments, but says there’s nothing newsworthy there. McCutchen implied that the Pirates need to spend more to try to win. Brownie says that spending more isn’t the clear answer to the problem. Greg also said that he didn’t understand the Aroldis Chapman signing last year. He also says that he doesn’t think Ben Cherington has done a good enough job. Cam Heyward admitted to Aaron Rodgers on his own podcast that he had a pre-conceived notion of him. Rodgers seemed like he was genuinely hurt by this. Cam Heyward practiced fully today. Boswell also decided to kick off in the game on Saturday.
