Some gifts seem “extraordinary” to us. But we should remember that we serve a Savior who rose from the dead.

In this final sermon in our series on the book of Judges, Pastor Aaron walks us through the progression and escalation of a terrible crime, into a terrible war, into a terrible solution. Despite all the brokenness we see in the people of Israel in this story, we know that God still used his people to provide salvation through Jesus Christ.

The biggest danger to our spiritual wellbeing is not necessarily atheism or apostasy, but that we would worship God as we want him to be instead of who he is.

God is not merely a God of second chances, he’s a God of grace. In this last sermon on the life (and death) of Samson, Pastor Aaron shows how even Samson's life that was lived focused on himself still received God's grace in the end. It's never too late to turn to God.

Pastor Doug finishes up our short series on Ruth, preaching about Naomi's redemption through Boaz's actions. Despite the rough start to her story, it ends with hope. For the believer in Jesus, the future is always filled with hope and the end of the story is always redemption and restoration.

We take a brief pause in our Judges series to go through a parallel story in the Bible, from the book of Ruth. In Christ, God has made us his friends, and calls us to be friends with one another. Pastor Aaron preaches this week from Ruth 1 on Ruth's devoted friendship to her mother-in-law Naomi.

This week the big idea that Pastor Aaron teaches on from the story of Jephthah is that ignorance is not bliss, it's dangerous. And spiritual ignorance is most dangerous of all.
