Jeremy and Matt are back to bring you the first full week of only Mountain West games, and also every game is on Saturday. We start the show with a look back at the first half of the season with some awards like best player, best and worst games and best coaching job. Next, we dive into the games which features some interesting matchups like Utah State hosting Wyoming as both hosts are trying to figure out who is this Aggies team. Colorado State takes on Nevada in a game where the Rams are looking to have a complete and dominant game against an opponent they should easily beat. We end the show on the biggest game of the weekend between San Diego State and Boise State. These two teams have not played in two years since they are in opposite divisions. Jeremy and Matt are back to go over Week 6 games and wonder why national polls are disrespecting San Diego State despite having better wins than South Florida, UCF and Navy. The Aztecs had its first blowout of the year as they topped UNLV in Las Vegas. The games started on Friday night with Boise State finally showing up in the running game with Alexander Mattison being the first Broncos running back to rush for over 100 yards since last year's win over UNLV. Nevada looked really good in its win over Hawaii, and consequently the Warriors have issues on defense and commit far too many penalties.  Let's not gloss over the fact Air Force played Navy in one of the best games in the history of the Commander-In-Chief trophy. Jeremy and Matt are back to discuss Week 6 of Mountain West football. Before we do the two discuss a report out of New Mexico that is pretty damning against head coach Bob Davie, if true. We discuss that piece and caution about believing everything within the article. After that, we get into the games which feature a Friday night tilt between BYU hosting Boise State and the big question is if the Broncos will be making a change to their offense at all. Fresno State travels to San Jose State and even if the Bulldogs get the win we may not know too much about this team. The first leg of the Commander-in-Chief trophy starts with Air Force going to Navy and for the Falcons this is a must-win game. Apologizes to those wanting to hear about Nevada vs. Hawaii and San Diego State vs. UNLV, but we had tech issues and lost that part of the show. Jeremy and Eli start up the 2017-18 Mountain West basketball season preview by starting with the Air Force Falcons. This Falcons team will have a tough time this year moving up from their last place finish last year. Part of that is because of the style of play the Falcons play and also the fact they are not able to get elite athletes to Colorado Springs. The two do come up with a way to give Air Force an edge with their 19-plus players they have on their roster, but based on what the Falcons have done in the past it seems unlikely that head coach Dave Pilipovich will change his scheme. Week 5 of the podcast is here and Jeremy and Matt spend a good 90 minutes talking about the games this week which begin on Friday night with Utah State hosting BYU. On Saturday there are a lot of late games, so spend your day wisely getting ready. Jeremy and Matt are back to recap a mostly terrible Week 3 of Mountain West football. Yes, there were games against three top-10 teams and five ranked overall, but winning just one of those games overall is not great (Boise State and New Mexico guaranteed the other win as it was a league contest). The quarterback play gets a lot of talk this week as Josh Allen struggled, again, Nevada went with a true freshman but lost, Fresno State might switch to grad transfer Marcus McMaryion and San Jose State suffered an injury to Montell Aaron. The bright spots were few and far between with Air Force's defense being a pleasant surprise in their loss to No. 7 Michigan and then San Diego State upsetting No. 19 Stanford. Jeremy chats with Jake Kocorowski of Buckys 5th Quarter to get to know the Wisconsin Badgers better as Utah State opens up on the road in Madison. The Badgers are expected to do very well this year and have the talent, and schedule, to make a run at the College Football Playoffs. This team is young with four true-freshman on the two-deep and that includes the backup quarterack in Jack Coan and also listed as a co-starter is another true freshman in running back Jonathan Taylor. There are some injury concerns for the Badgers with two starting linebackers out for the season in Zack Baun and Jack Cichy.
