Callum Davidson has had a fine first season as he follows the great work that Tommy Wright did at the club. We reflect on other League Cup memories though quite often in finals anxiety takes over and you don't remember much of the games. Celtic continue to face problems and Tony covers them from his point of view. Tommy Wright hasn't got off to the greatest of starts at Kilmarnock so we chat about whether he can keep them up.     In the latest guest special, John B is joined by current Rangers Women's player Rachel McLauchlan. With the Women's game suspended until 14 February at the earliest, Rachel talks about the frustrations of not being able to kick a ball for nearly two months since the SWPL winter shutdown. She gives a lowdown on what she's doing to keep herself going through this latest lockdown, including dog walking and Disney jigsaw puzzles. The conversation moves onto Rachel's career. She began at Inverness City in 2013 and played in the Highlands for a season before a two year stint at Aberdeen. In 2016, she moved to Hibs who established themselves as the Cup Queens of Scotland with three consecutive Scottish Cups and Scottish League Cups. In addition, Rachel won the first of her seven Scotland caps at the age of 19 against Holland, and played in Scotland's first ever finals at the Women's European Championships in 2017.     In the latest installment of our guest specials, John B is joined by former Grade One referee Charlie Richmond. Charlie made his breakthrough at senior level in the 2001/02 season and went onto referee at the top level for ten years before hanging up the whistle in 2012. He talks through the journey of his career, which started at Junior level, though he wasn't allowed to referee Auchinleck Talbot games because of his Talbot allegiances. He goes through his career through the senior leagues and gave an insight into the communication with players and managers, and how he'd handle flashpoints in key games like the Edinburgh derby. Despite earning a reputation as one of our top referees, Charlie didn't get picked for a National Cup Final or an Old Firm match. He explains some of the politics that prevented him from getting these prestigious matches, and the breakdown in relationship with the SFA that led to him quitting nearly nine years ago. Scott became a Twitter sensation in the aftermath of Scotland's historic playoff win over Serbia with his acoustic version of "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie." He became such a hit that the SFA used this version, along with his take on "Na na David Marshall", in their video montage celebrating qualification. He talks about this new found fame, some of his memories following the National team and hopes for the Euros, including if he's been approached to pen the Scotland Euro's song. We take a look back at our predictions at the start of the season and see how well we are doing. Is League One the most exciting league in Scotland currently?     It's a birthday special for our next guest as Good John speaks to Aberdeen Hall of Fame inductee Eoin Jess, who turns 50 today. Eoin discusses his life in Barcelona and how they have been coping with the pandemic. We then flip the conversation back to his childhood days and who his heroes were growing up in the 70's and 80's. Onto his career, the first time the wider footballing world became aware of Eoin Jess was when he was given a surprise start in the 1989 Skol League Cup Final at the age of 18. He took to the occasion like duck to water as Aberdeen beat Rangers 2-1 to lift the trophy, and he won a Scottish Cup medal as an unused substitute as the Dons beat Celtic in the 1990 Scottish Cup Final on penalties. During Eoin's first spell at Pittodrie, he won two Young Player of the Year awards, won Sportscene goal of the season in 1990/91, earned the first of 18 Scotland caps and played a key role in Aberdeen winning the 1995/96 CocaCola League Cup where they beat Dundee 2-0 in the Final.
