Today's message is about being great in the small things. Sometimes we dread Mondays. We can’t find the passion or the purpose in what we're doing, and it all seems pointless, but it isn’t. Jesus said, “I will bless you in the land I have given you.” Right where you are now is the land He has given you. Over time the scenery will change, but how well we do where we are now will have everything to do with what comes next. We all have things we have to do that seem small and boring, things that don’t matter. But God can take the small things we do--the things that don’t seem to matter--and He can make them big.

God has ordained and anointed your home and family to be a place of peace. The enemy works overtime to keep our homes full of stress, fighting, drama, and negativity. This isn’t anything new. Adam and Eve had drama in the family. Noah had problems in the home. Jacob’s sons sold their brother into slavery. But, in the end God won.

The Holy Spirit is our given teacher, encourager and comforter. This week I will be teaching on what the Holy Spirit is saying. Through this WORD a clarity is going to come within you; a volume bump in God’s voice to your daily life. Jesus said “The Spirit is going to declare to you all that I have is yours.” What is He declaring? What does the the Spirit of God wish to talk with you about?

“The Lord is my Shepherd, I will want for nothing.” (Ps. 23:1 NKJV) Anywhere in your life where you have lack or wants, there is a solution. There is a supernatural outpouring of the world's plunder that Jesus has secured, and it's waiting for you today--a flood of the Lord’s glorious inheritance that He has freely given to you.

When Jesus arrives at the tomb of Lazarus, everyone said He was too late. Sometimes we look at certain things in our life and say, “Well, it’s too late now." But is it? When Jesus is involved, it’s not too late!

Let's talk about the cave of your past mistakes. Marriage didn’t work, maybe you have regrets... as a parent, or a spouse. You know you've hurt others--caused pain. Before you knew Christ, and then, even after you knew him, maybe you walked away from God for a time. You fell down, were tempted, and desire got the best of you. You're not alone. God has an upward trajectory for you; He has chosen you. There are times in our relationship with Perfect God that we approach Him with hesitation, our prayers are messy. We know He can, we know He wants to, but do we deserve it? The resurrection power of Christ can work through those places and can release supernatural power into your future. The Lord can cause your past messes to actually bring life to others.

Aligning your timing to God's timing

David was anointed to be King, but then years and years went by and nothing happened. Abraham was promised a son, and then started 25 years of waiting. Joseph had a dream, and then It seemed like he was stuck going no where. Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness watching sheep. These are heroes who accomplished great things for the Lord! You are also a hero. Have you ever felt like you were stuck waiting, like a plane in a holding pattern? What is the wait? What is God up to? Maybe something is going on here under the surface, something super important to your launch. This week I’m going to be teaching about the purpose of the wait. When it feels like nothing is happening... ready.. set...

Today there are blended families, different cultures and races raising different kids. You may think – I’m not right for the job, they hate me, I don’t know what I’m doing. Rest in this, God has chosen you. Others, you were raised by a step mom, I wonder what God-deposit she left, it may seem unlikely, invisible, and yet, here you are...” Mom’s get a bad wrap. God isn’t involved in the mean things they did, or said, but there was something... and now look at you, you are the prophet raised up...

Today I want to talk to you about the cave of distress. Both Elijah and David found themselves here, and then the Lord brought them out. These stories in the Word reveal to us God’s pattern for release, freedom from the wearing of distress. 1 Kings 19:8-9 (NKJV), So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God. And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the LORD [came] to him, and He said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" Elijah is frustrated, weary, discouraged, things didn’t work the way he imagined. He’s alone, falsely accused, treated unfairly. Just before this trip he asked the Lord to take his life. Done. Today I want to talk to you about where godly confidence comes from. Confidence is an attribute of success, it is a critically important quality, and one that God wants you to have. When God comes to Joshua He declares over him in Joshua 1:9 (NIV) "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." God was saying that strength and courage will drive fear and discouragement out of your land! When you received Jesus you received strength and courage, He is your Joshua. Do not throw away your confidence! It will be richly rewarded (Heb 10:35). Today I want to talk to you about one man's incredible story with Jesus Christ. Springing up from this story comes one of the most-well known Bible verses on the planet - John 3:16 (NIV), "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:1-2 (NIV), "Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, 'Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.' "

I want to talk to you about transformation through instructions. The game of life came with instructions. Romans 12:2 tells me to not be "conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed." God has new information, better information. Better information means better decisions. This book is a map to the treasured life God has for you. It’s a treasure map. As you follow the instructions of the Word, you find the treasured life God has for you. He gives you His Spirit to unlock the mysteries in here. Here’s the problem, a lot of times we know we need help, we ask questions... well, what do I do now?
