God is not only on our side in our Spiritual battles, he is also in total control of our enemy.

Looking back at our past, whether it's a mistake or sin or even success in our life, will not do anything but hinder our future. We must always be trying to move forward and stretch our faith.

Sanctification is the process of being set aside for God's use. Many of us think that we are doing good as a Christian but when we examine ourselves, how many times have we committed sins of omission. It is too easy for us to just stay quite when we are in the presence of evil instead of taking a stand.

We all know that Jesus died for our sins. But we sometimes get hung up on ourselves and forget that Jesus even died for those that will always reject him.

We all often face struggles and fight battles in our spiritual life. We need to know that when God is on our side we have an ally that is immeasurably stronger than our enemy.

The bible tells us about how God is with us when 2 or 3 are gathered together. But sometimes we don't have someone else to pray with. Sometimes we feel very lonely. God wouldn't have us to feel that way.

When we're in the presence of God, all of our faults and inadequacies become very evident.

People often say that to "Fear the Lord" means to respect him. I believe that the Bible teaches that there is a real reason to Fear God.

After we work hard for God, we deserve a reward, right? The problem is that we start looking for our reward here on this earth instead of looking for that eternal reward and laying up our treasures in heaven.

Part 6 in the series, The Seven Churches, covers the sixth church at Philadelphia. This church was commended by Jesus for their faithfulness even though they had just a little strength. Our churches today should take a lesson from this and not allow their inadequacies to hold them back from trying to reach other people.

Sometimes we have to be ready to take the fight to Satan on behalf of those that are captive. There are many people that need God's help in their life, but they may not even know where to turn.

We often go through trials that are hard to endure. We can find joy in these trials if we see that God is trying to bring us to a new place in our walk with him. We have to go through these things to be purified and so that our faith will increase.

Part 5 in the series, The Seven Churches, covers the fifth church at Sardis. This Church was known as a church that was very lively, but Jesus said that they were actually dead.

Jesus took a horrible beating. We always think about the scars in his hands, feet, and side, but most people never really think about the other scars that he may still have.

Part 4 in the series, The Seven Churches, covers the fourth church at Thyatira. This church had an issue with a false prophetess referred to as Jezebel. Listen and see why this is still an important lesson for today's churches.

It can be very hard to forgive somone that has hurt you. This sermon addresses that and shows us some reasons why we should be willing to forgive more readily.

Part 3 in the series, The Seven Churches, covers the third church at Pergamos. This church understood enduring persecution, but they had allowed false doctrine and teachers to come into their Church and were tolerating it. We can't allow this kind of activity in our churches today. We must always be on guard and ensure that all teaching follows the Word.

Part 2 in the series, The Seven Churches, covers the Church at Smyrna. This church received council from Jesus about enduring and overcoming their trials, tribuilations, and persecutions. There are many people and churches that could learn from this today.

Jesus is the stone that the builders rejected. He laid the foundation for everything that our Churches should be built on today. We need to evaluate our lives and Churches to be sure that everything we do is built upon that solid rock foundation.

Part 1 in the series, The Seven Churches, covers the first church at Ephesus. The church is what most people would think of as an ideal church, but they forgot the most important thing, Love. Jesus warned them to return to their first works or face a judgement.
